TRAINING MODE, like I said in a previous post buried in this thread, they need to bring back the MUSIC when playing on a SPEED other than 5. And EDIT mode ... probably 32nd support maybe?

But no one hasn't explained yet why in 5th mix, Naoki's character is a girl

Change the songwheel too...It all looks great except for that awful looking yellowish brown space that the Groove Radar/Difficulties are on top of.

I don't see how Naoki's character looks like a girl... the lack of breasts is a dead give away.

For Training Mode, I would like to see something like how it was in DDRMAX, where you could play the song in slo-mo with the music. As for Edit Mode, just a chance to use something smaller than 16th note arrows. And is it too much to ask for triples and freeze arrows to get along?

For Edit Mode, I've always wanted something like Step Battle from 2nd mix.

Just let the song play and you go along with the song and step whenever you want. At the end of the song, it shows you your steps to see if you want to save it.

Simple as that

I do believe the more recent DDR games feature that. I remember making some lazy edits on SN2 that way.

I think they already have something like that Shubox. In Edit mode under recording, you can change "Play type" to Save Input or Over Input. I do that sometimes when I just have an edit in my head and i don't feel like thinking it out.

MAX, MAX2, EXTREME, EXTREME2, SuperNOVA, and SuperNOVA2 all have that feature, shubox. As DBHxgiga92 mentioned it's selectable from the "play" button on the left. It'll then turn to the "record" button when selected.

Okay then... all the notes I did were jumps.. when I was trying to do 8th and 16th notes.. o.o

That means you don't know the song well enough!! It happens so start getting used to it.

For MAX and MAX2 you can also slow down the speed of the song in Edit Mode just like in Training mode

Make sure you have the thing set to making 16th notes. If it's red, it will only make 4th notes.

Geez I gave up. Even adding in 16th notes made it hard! Some of them would become double steps and none of it fit in..lol

I don't think Naoki is a girl. Remember Naoki character from DDR 5th Mix? He like a cowboy.


Maybe on DDR X still like previous before..... Maybe Konami still lazy to update.

EDIT Mode:
Full support: 12th note with FREEZE enabled.

Or add in more full support like 24th, 32th, 48th, 64th note I doubt it XD

I'd love 24th, 32nd, and 12th and 24th freezes, but I doubt Konami would do that. (as stated about 100 times already), Oh, in training though, they should make it so that you can play the song FASTER too! I mean, we all know about slower, but what about faster!? That would be so freaking awesome!!!

In the world of electronica music, the composers rarely sing their own songs (e.g. Cascada is a band, but the name often refers to just the singer). Whether or not they credit the singer is up to them. They can market it as their song and just list them in the liner notes or say the artist is (Band) feat. (Singer).

Training Mode: they should do it like they did it from Konamix thru EX2 (i believe), when the training mode actually took you through the basic steps, jumps, freezes, and the other steps, i was a little bit disappointed that SN and SN2 HAD a Training Mode...but it was LONG as heck (with Scotty D. to help you out), that training was basically the basic steps, nothing big like the "jackhammers" or the other "unusual" steps. The other problem is that you only do it once, and it's the same thing over and over again...

I just prefer the old way they did the training mode, where you picked a section to do and it was short, but it went pretty quick, and then the "final test" to see what you learned (and it would be like a full beginner song.) I liked that Training mode ALOT better than the ones used in SN and SN2...

That's how i got to where i am on Expert and stuff

Edit Mode: yea, i don't do edits, takes time and i don't really have that time to do edits at the moment...BUT that doesn't mean i will NEVER do an edit
