I'm really interested to see what the ps2 version wil be like in comparison to the arcade version. not in terms of the song list but in terms of everything else.

I mean the ps2 version is coming out right in the middle of the very first arcade location test for the US, and as much as I would love to believe that X is going to be as complete and identical to the arcade version as it could get, I don't know how it could possibly be similar to the arcade version unless konami is showing off a final version at boomers which I'm pretty sure they aren't.

and by now I'm sure konami is done with their creation of DDR X CS NA and will be shipping the product for mass production any day now...

I guess my question(s) to the DDR guru's out there is:
If the arcade version isn't even complete yet, how could the ps2 version be complete already?

Well I'm guessing they've finished the interface and all the songs they want to be in the PS2 version, so there'll probably just be a few missing touches like the "Perfect Full Combo" by the letter grade, etc.

honestly when it came to SN2 it wasn't the song list hat killed me- I loved most of the licenses!!
It was the fact that there was no character select screen, no alice or julio, no toastie in other game modes, no alternate character costumes... AND I hate to be difficult, but the lag at the beginning and end of certain songs got on my nerves sooooo fast! and like e-s-g just mentioned the lack of "perfect full combo" message.

lol, and aside from this I still play SN2 CS on a regular basis

I'm just saying that its all the minor details I look for in games and its all the minor little details taht make the game for me, not so much the song list.

I guess this is just what happens when you've got that "artist eye".
