Forgot to mention this earlier but last night I had a ridiculously odd dream. You know the "Pink elephants on parade" scene from Dumbo? Well, this dream reminded me of that, and was honestly kinda scary. Ready to hear?
So, since I had played DDR A for the first time yesterday, I had a mainly DDR-themed dream. The dream started out with normal arrows scrolling from bottom to top (like in typical DDR), but then, the arrows became all distorted. I could best describe them as "DDR arrows seen through a funhouse mirror." Then, I began to see Jubeat markers lighting up really quickly, all while the distorted arrows were still moving. After that, one of the arrows grew really big and started almost stretching itself out to the left, and then came the part that reminds me most of the pink elephants. Distorted, stretching, and odd arrows scrolled from the bottom in "wave-like" patterns, stretching and compressing themselves as this "wave" stretched all the way to the left, then to the right, etc. Then, the arrows seemed to be..."playing ring-around-the-rosie" around my bed as light bars, like the ones that appear on screen when you hit a note in Pop'n Music, flashed before my eyes. All of this happened while I heard "Invisible lover" and "Sayonara trip" playing, but they were odd versions that cycled between their normal and ALT (the former)/Natsuhi EDM (the latter) versions.
So, in short, I was Dumbo and the arrows were pink elephants. Nonetheless, this dream actually WOKE ME UP AT 12:30 AM with a stomach ache and slight nausea. I got up and went to the bathroom, but when I tried to go back to sleep, scenes from the dream began to flash in my mind. Fortunately, I was back asleep by, like, 2 AM.
