OK guys, stop with the clutter in this forum as it doesn't add to the topic in hand. If you still wanna do all this, do it in the Forum Games forum or something.

OK. Now back to topic. About DDR X system, i think DDR X will more lenient than SN2 before or maybe same as SN2. 99% = AAA, 1-4 live bars on Encore Extra Stages, etc. What do you think?

When I said clutter, I meant also speculation, so no speculation any more please.

Well like I said, if you wanna do that, do it in another thread, just not in this one.
Cos chances are people will be flicking through the last few pages looking to find proper discussion or information instead of 90% spam.

And now, a slightly more on-topic discussion.

Regarding the toasties mentioned here, I think we can disregard this first screenshot. Konami updated a lot of the graphics. between when this screen, the E3 screens and arcade screens came up.

Just seeing that picture makes my blood boil
I just can't wait for it, I want it now. I don't really care how many Toasties or whatever you call them come up, I could care less about them. I just want the game now! I hope we have a cooler way of unlocking the songs. I perfered the point system, but it looks like thats been taken out. Any ideas about that guys? Think they might go back to Max 2 where after you complete a song it tells you how many more songs you must complete for the next song ot be unlocked.

A little is fine, not when an entire page is filled with it.

Fixed. On the subject of the toasties, I'm pretty sure SN2 just randomly picks, and doesn't have a specific one for each combo. Have to play it some tonight to be sure though.

Nah, I don't think so. It goes something like this
20 combo: Toastie 1
50 combo: Toastie 1
100 combo: Toastie 2
150 combo: Toastie 1
200 combo: Toastie 2
And they continue to alternate every 50 combo.

P.S. This was posted over at DDRCommunity

I want to give everyone a little insight into the license music for this year's Wii and PS2 games. This year we really tried to bring some of the best license music yet to HOTTEST PARTY2 and DDR X. At the same time we wanted to keep the "feel" of the games separate. Both of these games have a very unique character, so the music that we choose has to promote this.
Our motivation for HOTTEST PARTY2 was to give it a really great "party" feel. Not so much a club party, but more of a rippin' house party. One of those parties where the DJ is playing all types of music, and every track seems to totally fit the mood and make the party more fun. To this end, we went after some of the greatest hits from the last 4 decades. Songs people know and love, even if they had forgotten about them. I want people to have the experience, "Oh Yeah, I know that song! I Love it!". Of course, we threw a few surprises in there too - just to keep it interesting. ;-)
For DDR X, we had the "urban" theme to guide us so we went after music that follows this idea. Now, "urban" doesn't mean just Hip-Hop though. Urban environments are places where cultures collide and ideas such as music get shared. So X's music is a bit edgier, but still really exciting. Along side the smash-hits and well known songs are many tunes that are pushing the musical boundary - blending styles and genres.
Of course our over-riding rule when looking for music, from global hits to club anthems to underground masterpieces, is the "fun factor". Just because a song is popular doesn't mean it's going to be good for DDR. It has to be fun to play! I think we did a great job this year and we have some really solid tracks for both of these games. Enjoy - and definitely let us know your favorites (and least favorites)!

now that defitnatly makes me want DDR X more, and possible DDR Hottest Party.
When I saw Here It Goes Again listed on DDR X I was thinking that he came over from Hottest Party, since there was a song that had a pretty close name to it. Then I saw the artist, and thought aww.
Oh yeah Here It Goes Again was on Rockband if people didn't know.
