IIDX Accomplishment Thread

smooooch [a] hates me soooo much. I 78%'ed it again and can't get close to it for the next 20 tries.

In other news, I managed to complete 8th dan! I thought that completing 8th dan on DistorteD was a fluke but I'm thoroughly surprised about this.

Candy Galy [h] wasn't too bad for me. It was finishing with a pass that was the problem. I halfassed the scales in KAKUMEI [a], got left with around 10% before the final stream for some meter building. The Denjin song killed my meter again but I managed to finish it with the same amount of gauge I started with.

It was at that moment where hope was high before I saw GET ON BEAT (Wild Style).

My god, those soundless hammers crushed my gauge. I got 6% after a particularly nasty one but it loosened up. I ended 8th dan with 16%.

Right now, the only thing standing between me and a completed GOLD hyper list are four 11's. VANESSA, Scorpion Fire, Laser Cruster and Sense 2007. Not even close to finishing those yet. I got close with Random on Scorpion Fire but those chords and scratches during the final run killed my meter.

I 78% and 76%'ed Halfway of Promise [a]. Both of them were A's.

I think I passed 7 dan in IIDX RED ( the one with the The Safari as the last stage) I'm pretty happy I'm starting to improve on 10s, getting 9th and 10th styles really did help .

Cleared Due Tomorrow [a] and Go Beyond [a]

So that's three 12s cleared in a space of 5 days. ok they weren't too difficult for 12s but I'm goddamn impressed with myself.

MORE STUFF:
Innocent Walls [a] cleared. Why this is easier than the [h] is anyone's guess.
haru queered Digitank System [a]. That took a few tries.
76% 2 tribe 4 K [b]. Annoying ending.

First 10, Moon [a]. Wasn't as hard as I was expecting... I suspect it's probably a very easy 10 after what I've heard, but a pass is a pass.

I don't know how but I managed to clear VANESSA [h] on Random. Most random charts are complete disasters but after a few tries, I got this somewhat easy ending that didn't have double scales that went in opposite directions. Cleared with 82%. I'll regular clear it eventually.

Finally passed smooooch [a]. Yay.

Passed Halfway of Promise [a], after several hundred tries to get the ending down. Also got an A on it. It's my 5th 11.

Currently trying to pass STEEL NEEDLE and Sound of Giallarhorn on [a]. I got 70%+ on my first few tries and haven't gotten close again.

I don't know how you got that close on Steel Needle, but with Sound of Giallarhorn, my first pass was a Genocide clear(ignoring the hard beginning and only playing the easier ending). I started playing at measure 59.

I don't know either. After the scale to the ending, it dipped below 80% and I only managed to get 70% at the end. The beginning was mostly half-assed for me like on the [h] chart.

I also hope you managed to perfect that score on SOG.

I'm pretty sure that this is my current record for the song, which should probably be a little higher, considering it's somewhat easy to score on (though not as easy as Blind Justice or Luv to Me (Ucchie's Edition)), but that's probably due to me focusing more on clearing easy 12s/annoying 8-dans and hard clearing easy/medium 11s along with my timing not being very great in the first place (Max Love [N] being one of my best AAAs, and I don't think I have even 15 AAAs(My scores on this site are very outdated))

EDIT: Also, spiral galaxy is one of the easier 11s on DJT, though some people have more trouble normal clearing it than hard clearing it.

Somehow managed to reach the red once in AA [a]. The more I play that chart the more sense it makes little by little.

After raging about how that reggae song on 8th Dan HS was so bad and getting ravage by 3 girls on SigSig [a]. I managed to beat 8th Dan on Happy Sky.

Passed a few more 10's in various games. Rage quit GOLD since there's virtually nothing left in my ability to do. I will have to go back and clear Lovely Storm since I cleared it in HS.

Did clear SoG [a] the same way Meseki did. Took a while though.

Trying to clear MENDES [h] the same way I did SoG [a]. My highest was 52%.

Cleared fly through the night [14K], Love Shine [14K]. Also got a B fail on Boundary [14K], which was annoying, as the only other B's I got that session were Narcissus at Oasis [L14] and rottel-da-sun [L14], so it didn't make much sense to B a 9 when I didn't even get a B on any of the 6s-8s that I played. (I didn't get any A's or better, either)

Finally got to play on a DistorteD arcade machine. My timing is garbage there. I couldn't unlock CG since I couldn't get an A and I couldn't pass any 10's. I played 7th Dan and got ravaged by THE SAFARI [h] twice. The second time, I had 72% starting.

Back at home, I did pass 7th Dan and 8th Dan on RED. I passed 7th Dan with lag and I was left with 6% after THE SAFARI. That song is good but the chart just makes me rage quit.

I squeaked by gigadelic [h] with 4%. Apparently, that's a very angry 12. So much meter building and it takes it away with extreme prejudice.

I also cleared Genocide [h] with an F. Replayed and failed with a C.

Cleared my second 10 the other day, Sound Of Giallarhorn [h]. Few more 9s here and there but I can't remember what they were!

I passed my first Black Another! For some reason, I was scratch-happy today and decided to play SWEETEST SAVAGE after clearing War Game [a]. Got a 92% on it. Now I don't have to see that ugly Assist Clear next to the name.!

Also passed PARANOiA HADES [h] at 1:00 in the morning.

I also somehow managed to get past MENDES [h] on 8th Dan but got ravaged by Ubertreffen [a].

New accomplishments today...passed Mental Meltdown and Saturn on Hyper in DJ Troopers today. This makes my 10's counts to about 6....still trying to clear Do It Do It!!, Troopers, and Oratio....

Cleared Dawn the next Endeavour [a]. Oddly enough, I cleared it at my friend's house on the first try with a BB yet it took forever to clear it at home.

I'm also hating SCREAM SQUAD [h] with a vengeance. It's the last Hyper 10 I can't beat in HS which means I can't clear all of the HS songs on Hyper.

I actually cleared Scream Squad [A] right before I cleared Scream Squad [H], so it's probably going to be a while before you clear it.
