I said "but it's being tested in Japan..." because i was expressing doubt about it. I'm just saying this seems pretty similar to DDR X3 vs. 2ndMIX, but i'm hearing about a video about it that I haven't watched yet, so I have no right to make any naive comments now. I'm just saying it probably has some relation to DDR X3 vs 2ndMIX, like a sister release or so, but that's my opinion.

They're introducing a way for Konami to get profits without arcades having to buy expensive cabs/kits with every new mix. Looks like all the BEMANI series will be heading this way eventually.

I wouldn't be surprised if pop'n Sunny Park was doing it too. Dropping the number would be a good time to.
Also now what adds to your combo has changed, ideally there should now be two different versions of the RISKY mod - with and without goods.

I'm somewhat indifferent to this, getting kits are already expensive + the profit sharing system sucks balls... so hopefully this might ease costs on arcades in the long run.

How did you know U-san is U1? They are different people. U-san is the guy who appeared with TAG in the APPEND TRAVEL video.
