Worst stepcharts, in your opinion

I kind of enjoyed You're Not Here, to be honest. I do admit that the slowdown makes it more of a bitch to AAA, though.

Actually looking back and not at the usual suspects for junk charts, this chart got through the testers and IMO, a forgetful song gets a bad chart...

I think Junko only said he hated it to get attention. There's no way he could have been serious when typing that, especially how he says that the song itself was "horrendous".

But yeah, it was most likely something along the lines of licensing issues. Either that or they just removed it because they felt like they didn't need it. I really do wish they kept it though, it was actually one of the better songs from DDR Extreme US.

Extreme us came out in September 21st, 2004.
Fusion came out on November 5th, 2004.

I figured it was just an "intro" song for people to get introduced to fast songs. Those new to the series will probably be playing songs they recognize. Rock This Town has always been a relatively popular song from the 80s(?) and most people will recognize the song. It would basically be a tutorial level of sorts, if that makes any sense. I dunno. Whatever.

On topic, after buying ULTRAMIX 3, I've developed a hatred for So Many Times.

Being boring, overstepped/understepped (fake difficulty), physically unrealistic (see the random spontaneous jump in Valkyrie Dimension's final stream), presumably an infinite amount of reasons to be honest.

I can't really choose, so for the worst stepcharts in DDR, imo, are most of the Single Heavy charts from Club Version. It's a shame, because most of the songs, which are crossovers from beatmania, beatmania 2ndMIX, beatmania 4thMIX, IIDX, and substream, actually sound pretty good. But the charts are very underwhelming, especially OVERDOSER and g.m.d.

Since this was revived, I'll drop FANTASY - LOCKOUT's chart in the bin: It seriously feels as if it was supposed to be a different song altogether. It flows poorly and has awkward jumps placed at random times near the end. Don't like it.

Yeah, FANTASY (MELISSA) was much better. 9s are generally pretty fun and this is no exception. The could've done a lot more with FANTASY (LOCKOUT)
