They should have an announcer option, like you can select one on an other OR NOTHING.
I want to listen good music while i'm playing, not a random guy screaming in my ears "AHHH YEAAAAYYY".

Also Mermaid Girl in X3 like Pie said, it might happend for sure. That was the first thing i said when i heared the song "This will be in the next ddr arcade".

The multiple announcer feature was one of the things in the wishlist for DDR X (considering it was an Anniversary game).
Plus, if the announcer can be disabled in the CS games, I still can't think why that option isn't in the AC DDRs

I've deafened myself to the new announcer now. It's amazing how little I remembered hearing it playing in Japan. The worst thing they could do is create a NEW and still annoying announcer. Because then I'd have to start over teaching my brain to ignore it.

all this wishing and ridiculous speculation sure makes for a boring thread...

until someone actually wishes for something both awesome and reasonable

so this is all i have to say on the matter until some real info comes out

Exciting and somewhat awkward since it was like a year ago DDR X2 came out.
Not sure if anyone has been a fan of the re-edits in X and X2, but who thinks more re-edits are in store for X3?

Ex: Boom Boom Dollar (X3 Re-edit) or Dream A Dream (X3 Re-Edit).

I'm assuming that they're relating X3 to 2nd Mix in some way. I'm gonna make some blind guesses.

-Connection with Beatmania (like Club Mixes)
-Taking couples/dance battles back (how interesting...)
-Reviving some 2nd Mix KOs and Licenses, like Make A Jam

Yeah. We might as well not speculate it. This is harder than I thought.

I want so much to be excited for this, but the newest mix within a 3 hour radius of my home is a Supernova 2 two hours away. Ah well. Still looking forward to the release.

Also wondering, would the songs on DDR2010 be on X3? It was said that X3 would have a stronger connection to ths years CS release, so that would mean we could be looking at a big songlist for the AC release...

I'm still waiting for I Need You (Insideout Door mix), Something Wonderful, Nemesis, and Infinite Prayer, which will never meet an arcade release. T~T

I'd love for some STRIKE KO's to appear (e.g. HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH (German Election Mix), In My Eyes (Midihead Remix)) and all those ignored IIDX crossovers maybe with some new challenge steps (e.g. fly through the night, G2, LOVE IS DREAMINESS, RIDE ON THE LIGHT (HI GREAT MIX), THE BIG VOYAGER -INFINITE PRAYER REINTERPRETATION-, ZERO-ONE), but all that's pretty much a pipe dream at this point.

HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH is not a KO. (It's Dancemania.)
