DDR X2 AC simfile BETA database update:
- VANESSA by SUZAKU simfile added; with S-
(12) and S-
(16) stepcharts by JanoDx. (link in first link in my sig below)
Anyway, to all simfile editors/makers using SM3.9 Plus REDUX, I suggest to modify your stepmania.ini file, look and update the code to this one below:
EditModeDoesntSavePlusFeatures=1
This will eliminate the auto-generating of many stepcharts from different game modes (pump any styles, dance-solo/couple, bmiidx 5keys/7keys, technomotion, pop'n music and many more). Even if you just made only the Single charts, it can sometimes automatically generates Doubles charts without knowing it (like the case of JanoDx stepcharts for VANESSA). And also as the mentioned code name implies, it does not save extra sm codes (#MENUCOLOR, #GENRE etc.) that are available only in PLUS REDUX version, thus leaving only the basic standard codes like regular SM 3.9 do. This way will eliminate confusion to transport to database.

Decided to rip and touch up the Vanessa logo for new graphics ^^:

And made a vector of it ^^:

Also made a few touch ups with the Vanessa graphics:

And the cleanest BGA of Vanessa I could find:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D5N8OGJM
If there's anything else I can do, please let me know ^^

Hmm, that VANESSA video needs to start at like 1.250... (which is 1.250 beats after the music actually starts). Any chance anyone has a good, clean VANESSA video that isn't cut off at the beginning?

I have an issue with the pack or the zip files.
Try to unzip "someday..." and "leaving..." using Winrar and an error is shown (cannot create the path).
Solution: once downloaded, rename all the data, download individual data or unzip using WinZip.

DDR X2 AC simfile BETA category updates:
- roppongi EVOLVED ver. D added; stepcharts by nk_karon355; mp3 from line-out; fixed stops and bpm.
Check at first link below my sig.
Anyway, it is not advisable to make round off values for stops (which usually happens when you're editing a stepchart using SM 3.9, not either REDUX, SM4 or sm ssc). Too many stops with all rounded off values will get the offsync/offbeat eventually after every measure. In my part, i use 6-digit decimal places instead through manual computing (i don't trust highlighting measures then convert to pause in editor).
EDIT:
- CG Project added; mp3 from line-out; available in S-EXPERT (12) and D-EXPERT (13)
EDIT #2:
- ZETA ~Sosuu no Sekai to Chouetsu sha~'s zip and all contents updated; fixed S-DIFFICULT stepchart, added D-DIFFICULT all by b91201021.
- VANESSA sm file updated;added D-DIFFICULT and D-EXPERT by b91201021.
- Leaving...'s sm file updated;added D-DIFFICULT and D-EXPERT by b91201021.

Probably has something to do with the three dots in the filenames.

It's simple conversion of units.
1 second/beat * 1 minute/60 seconds * bpm.
Let's say you have a song that's 154bpm.
154 beats/minutes * 1 minute/60seconds = 2.5666... beats/second.
1 second / 2.5666... beats = 0.389610... seconds in one beat. (One beat = a quarter note since we assume all DDR songs are in 4/4 time.)

Thanks for that. So I might as well do (second/(BPM/seconds)) then so it feels shorter to get the stop for one beat.
