Spring is an Ideal Time to Play DDR

Hello, this is Rena.

Because of the nice weather, Spring is a great time to go play DDR.
There's no need for heavy jackets in the Spring, so you can play DDR with little resistance.

I told you all a little about Pop'n Music last time...
And you all know how will and Beautiful Inside (Cube::Hard Mix) from DDR Hottest Party and Reach the Sky (Orbit1 Remix) from Furu Furu Party are in the arcade version of DDR X. (Translator note: This is incorrect. Reach the Sky is NOT currently playable on DDR X. She most likely meant Lovin' You (Epidemik Remix) from Furu Furu Party)

Well,
There's a song in Furu Furu Party that I think is representative of the game as a whole, much like will is for Hottest Party.

I wonder why that song isn't in DDR X...

NAOKI-san said it was his favorite song in Furu Furu Party.

BIG☆NEWS! DDR in a Movie!

Hello everyone!
Are you enjoying DDR X? Have you made lots of edit data?
By the way, this is the designer Yoshii. I haven't posted in a while.

I have come today, in the middle of the wonderful spring, to deliver BIG☆ NEWS for DDR fans!
The movie "Yes Man", which has gone out nationwide starting on March 21st, featuring the arcade version of DDR! Kyaaaa!!! *puff puff puff*

To put it simply, the movie is about a man who must say "Yes" to every thing he is asked!
It seems the director actually based this movie off his own experience. Could he really have done such a thing?

The star is "Jim Carrey", who has lots of female fans around here. With such an interesting director and famous star, it's impossible not to be interested by this movie! Even while I'm writing this entry, my heart is pounding.

By the way, it's confirmed that the DDR cabinet is shown in the trailer for the movie, but we're not exactly sure in what context the arcade cabinet is used in the movie, so we'll be eagerly awaiting to see it.

Hey everyone, before heading out to your local arcade, maybe you should stop by your local movie theater and see it. After that, go to your local DDR machine and show that you won't be defeated by Jim Carrey's steps.

They're just now getting that movie? I'm surprised that they didn't know about the DDR machine until now. The song used is Flowers unless they decide to change it in the Japanese release. Carrey is playing on a SuperNOVA machine and is doing A LOT more footwork than the steps seen briefly are calling for.

Thanks for the clip Aeron, I saw the DDR machine in the trailer, but I never knew what role it played in the movie till now.

But we still have yet to see a DDR reference be taken seriously :3

In all fairness, this is probably the best DDR I've seen done in a TV show/movie so far. Jim Carrey atleast looks like he could be playing DDR rather than attempting to believe "real dancing" is what gives you the high score and that you can make the machine explode by achieving said high score.

Hahahaha

I think it is funny that Jim Carrey didn't finish the last 11 steps on the expert chart.
