lol, nah I believe it is synced just fine, even the older version before the category went private was synced fine.

Is it just me, or is there no way to get deltaMAX's bg video on-sync? On my computer at least, 100% is too fast, but 99% is too slow. I got it to 99.2% and it was perfect the first time, but then I played the file again and it was too fast. Is Stepmania doing something to the video to make it not go the speed it should?

I'm using the low-res version from page 8 of this thread.

yeah, I tried to sync it too, but the problem is that it sometimes speeds up, even when you stick it at any velocity, it just randomly boosts.

I will stay with the low-definition one for now.

A couple of errors I've found:
Bar 33 of Out of Decaf oni has two overlapping down arrows
Once Upon A Time begins late

This must be the problem. I don't have the best computer, so I guess sometimes it skips a little to catch up or something. But this is a big problem for strictly-synced videos like deltaMAX. Oh well, we can't really do anything about it.

I am using the low-res version BTW.

I just loaded these charts on my ITG2 dedicab, and any with videos get really chunky and laggy.
Has anyone else done this & noticed it? Is it a codec issue?

It's Xvid, it should work.

Kay! I can personally make you 4:3 versions of the videos if you want, the ones included are widescreen (the original form)

I would love 4:3 videos and of slightly lower resolution. My machine happens to chug when the videos run as well.

We ended up just upgrading the ram and processor from 512mb to 2g and 2800 to 5200x2. Everything's smooth as silk now ^^

1. Has Hit the Ground been fixed? (the claim is that the steps are one beat off)
2. Have the mp3s been replaced for the DLC songs? (A user mentioned that there was a weird pitch sound)

It's kinda hard to keep track without any update information on the comments of the sim.

1. Not here, I fixed it myself (also I fixed Once Upon A Time, it was a beat and a half off )
2. I don't really know what the hell he was talking about, I have absolutely no problem with those mp3s.

Edit: Also after the whole aftershock!! errors (1st it had no double data, then it accidentally overwrote A Fifth of Bethoveen.)when it was fixed, the beat stop on the freeze was fucked up (it happens just before the freeze arrow, when it is supposed to happen when you hit the freeze arrow) So I fixed that one too.

and...when are we going to get a correct banner for The Bomb?

These have a buzzing sound at the beginning of the song. That's the noise that the user was referring to.

Hm, ok I hear it, but really it is extremely faint, it sounds like microphone static, and the person who complained about it must have been blasting his stereo.

I blast my speakers when I play because I upload videos onto YouTube. That's the reason why I only have videos of oarfish and What Is Love? up on my channel. Hearing that noise hurts my ears and has my head thumping afterwards.

And I want to put more videos up of the DLC songs.

Ah, well I only have laptop speakers and headphone (and boy do these laptop speakers SUCK!) I certainly can't have the volume up too loud!

We actually did get a correct banner for The Bomb, but we still lack a good banner for Control (The Attic Mix). The current one lacks the artist name.

oh, now I remember. The sad thing is that I don't have access to Photoshop or whatever it's called. So I hope Lord Toon or silverdragon or anyone else shows up and fix that banner and Control.
