I also don't think they'd put that many boss songs from previous releases. the common rule (seen in DDR SN and SN2) is 1 boss song from past release and 4 boss songs that are new. but maybe there might be an exception since you can't have Pluto Relinquish without Pluto and vice versa

Yeah, thats what I'm saying.
But the US hasn't got Pluto or Pluto Relinquish yet. from what it seems we have been 1 mix behind in terms of getting boss songs.

DDR SN (JAP) got Trim while we got in in DDR SN 2
DDR SN 2 (JAP) got the planet songs, so we should get them in this mix

The US seems to get hand-me-downs
SN->SN2->X

SN2 has some bosses songs. We get Unreal, NGO, Trip Machine PhoeniX and Paranoia ~HADES~ while another real bosses songs was Pluto and Pluto Relinquish. I think DDR X USA has same phenomenon like SN2 before. Not only 2 new bosses songs for DDR X, but maybe more than 4 songs.

I have the suspicion that, while we may see multiple toasties for the same combo, one of those perhaps may be a "beta toasty." KONAMI has been known to jump the gun and throw up beta screens before. I mean, I'd love to have as much variety as possible, just saying.

Depends how much effort they want to put in. Either draw X new toasties for Y characters, or be lazy and hack up only a few. On one hand, this is KONAMI, but on the other, it is the 10th anniversary!
