I've played one of them; it's not good. The menu interface is...blue. No design, just flat blue that hurts your eyes. And yes, machine owners have reported damage from the over clocking, though I didn't try it.

From what I've heard (which isn't very much)...the rate mods (named for what StepMania calls them) are quite a strain on the cabinet's CPU.I imagine the literal speed mods don't do wonders for the insides of the machine...
I'm also curious about one thing: In the Groove did rate mods better...but did they do it first?

Aren't these charts just terrible? The notes aren't even on sync with the music, and using a random note snap and BPM is not the right way to make a chart.

Yesterday, I got my hair cut. After that, I went to the Pink Gorilla in Seattle's University District and, surprisingly enough, found a used copy of Live-A-Live being sold for $25. Even though I have no use for it, I bought it anyway. It's obscure, but it's quite good.
