Played more Universe 3 yesterday and got a few more AAA's:



Awesome song and the chart was lots of fun.



Wow, Paranoia has some of the best charts. This was rather difficult too because of the fast pacing (and lag). But I nailed it like a boss. haha.

I did have 2 others but the videos got corrupted so I'll have to redo them.

Me posting in this thread? Impossible!

Anyways, went to Walnut Creek today and played on a really good X cabinet! The arrows had little lag to my knowledge, and I managed to get some scores I were kind of proud of, but are dwarfed by most that are on the site.




First actually decent score I got on the machine. I can't think of anything else to say.



Second decent one I managed to get. I've gotten a B on this song before too, but when I did my phone was dead, and it was on a different cabinet.



This was the last score I got before I left, and pipe it, I was tired.

These were the best scores I got, with the others being either average, or downright embarrassing. Maybe I should start going there once every month.

My first documented arcade PFC. I'm certain I AAA'ed Kind Lady many years ago before I fell out of shape, but I don't have a picture anymore, and the site I would've posted it to, DDR Freak, is dead.

I haven't had anything I would deem post-worthy recently (you can go to the score tracker to see all my recent scores), but since it is the end of the year / school semester for me within (the first half of) my time in Singapore so far, I just want to highlight the fact that I have earned exactly 81 PFCs over the last four months and more than doubled my overall PFC count in that time (72 -> 153). It just goes to show how much you can accomplish in Japan/Asia compared to anywhere else.
[not to mention being able to participate in KAC for the first time, albeit in the Asia division]

Other than that, I'd say there are only two other highlights during this time: 1) PFC #100, 2) and maybe this:

lol at that monitor. They probably are trying to get 15khz to 31khz VGA standard using a Chinese adapter or something. The fix is simple too, just flip the DIP SW on the Python 2 and run it at 31Khz from the PCB. That is just a guess but I am pretty confident whoever put in that monitor didn't have much of a clue as to what they were doing. They likely stretched the image to fit the screen incorrectly as well which is why it gets stretched on the sides only.

Also I will list all my accomplishments a bit later today or tomorrow. Finally finished up school and other projects so I have some time to work on some other things.

Yikes, I've seen that kind of warping before with a CRT.

I was exhausted, but decided to cool down a bit. If I weren't as tired, I would probably have half as many perfects...and likely a pad miss, since the D&B Orlando X2 pads are starting to suck again.

Nothing too great on my end, still stuck on 8 PFCs and I'm still adjusting to playing on an EU DDR X, but the lifebar definitely made it a lot easier to pass multiple new bosses in the space of a few days:
- Xmix 5
- The legend of MAX
- CHAOS
- Paranoia Hades
- Paranoia Respect (Double)

All averaging out with C/D grades, but hey, a pass is a pass..

My condolences. How do you put up with the pads?

So basically I only played charts at 15 higher because I can't PFC to save my life.



I'm bad and got every combo break and a decent chunk of the greats right after the stop because I miscounted it. Probably ~5 greats without that.



The best among the 18s I did. Less exciting - ~87 on Possession , ~84 on VD and PRevo , 86 on Faxx . Also did Trigger but I don't remember the score.
