I had a doubles chart which was handplant heavy in general and in the original draft it's last hit was an 8 panel smash. I managed to full excellent combo it several times on my own. The only way something like that would ever work though is if you lead the player into it (as i discovered when i got friends to attempt it). My way of hitting was to bracket P1 down and left, p2 down and right with feet, and hit the 4 remaining arrows with my hands. Easy if you've got the leg stride for it!

That sounds... painful.

The first time I tried it it definitely was! Hence why after a little while I removed it completely (The whole chart was essentially a joke and i'm 99% sure that to this day I was the only person who played it what with it being doubles, slow and full of handplants)

Question - are jubeat "stepfiles" a thing? Is there some kind of jubeat simulator/emulator that can use them?

Did you know that SM5 has the 3 panel mode from DDR solo? But the arrows are wrong, it shows left-down-right instead of upleft-down-upright. And not many people play it, there has been only 1 video of it so far...
