Four notes during that section need to be moved up by a 16th. I think the fact that they fixed HDV's chart is a lot more impressive.

The announcer does seriously need to be scrapped.

In fact, let's scrap ANY announcer during gameplay. It's a very silly idea to have someone shouting at you as you're trying to listen to the music.

Well, turning them off for FINAL/ES/EES is a step in the right direction at least.

Personally all I want from an announcer is "100 combo" , "200 combo" etc etc

I agree. I'm playing a good song and then I hear "P-P-P-PERFECT!"
I also hate how it cuts off when you reach the next 100 combos, like "Good! Good! Keep on-- 200 combos!"

I think the cut off is intentional, because on older games, if he's already saying something, he won't say the combo.

Let's change the announcer. Whipe out the current X announcer and re-enter the 1st Mix announcer.

I mean, I understand that beginners may like the announcer because it helps they figure out how well they are doing, so why not just have the announcer come on in starter mode or when you play a beginner/basic chart? Does anyone who plays above basic really need the announcer to figure out how well they are doing?

At the very least there should be an option to turn it off (And by the way, EVERYTHING off. I don't like how in the CS games, the audience stays on when you turn the announcer off. If I wanted the announcer gone, what makes you think I still want the audience?).
