Same, my reason for homebrew is so you dont have to use your disk. I own everything I back up to this day. I never emulate/pirate UNLESS its over 20 years old (and you cant play it in like a eshop)

I usually prefer playing on Virtual Console anyway, but the few games I already own that aren't on that service go straight to my Pi: There are only so many times I can buy A Link To The Past before I realize that Nintendo's been scamming me. Why don't they run their service like PS1 Classics, which are playable across all of your PS Consoles at no extra charge? I would certainly be more willing to re-purchase games on NES if I could get them on both Wii U and 3DS at no additional price.

Can anyone explain what exactly are gimmicks in dance games?
Like I'm aware of stops and slowdowns but I still hear people call charts gimmicky.


To be honest I hear it most from ITG players that can't pass DDR 18s and 19s
Ex:I beat harder songs than that in ITG but these charts are too gimmicky haha

It is essentially any song that has a change in it's BPM at any point during the song's chart.*

*at least, that is what I would see as constituting why a chart that has barely any stops is considered a gimmick chart.

That's not stupid - I think it's actually cute! The fact that everything is so inexpensive was just because you were young and did not know any better, which is cute to me.
