The phrase was: "You can do no wrong! Keep out the perfect combo"
We had DDR X2 here and this phrase usually appears when we begin to play a song.

We all nostalgia trip over Scotty Dolph though.

The murmur twins
chart abomination? It would probably be a 15.

That chart was actually pretty good. I don't know what you're on about.

Pretty sure it was something like "You got the beat, you got the song. You can do no wrong"

Right now all I'm wishing for is Konami to bring back more songs from UNIVERSE3.
We're missing Akibarrific

Anyway I liked Scotty as the announcer in battle mode. I think he would have been fine as the new default.

Also they shortened/took out some phrases, a notable example being that horrible one where they start singing over the music.
Oh yeah, that one. I was vaguely noticing that I haven't heard that line at all in X3 and this game. For anyone who wants a prime example of how atrocious that particular line was, look here at the very first step of the song:

The DDR X software is actually more logical about what it says and when. It'll even shut off the announcer completely when the player might be in danger of failing a song due to it being a distraction, such as on the OMES.

Speaking of announcers, you think they would've taken out the annoying applause or at least saved it for the results screen.

So the OST is now on the JP iTunes store. I wonder when it will be available worldwide like tricoro did, if at all.
Also, Go For The Top (Grand Finale Mix) is only 2:19 long, so yeah:
And looks like it's pretty much the one played live... without U1's voice.

Anyone have the OST and is willing to upload it? I can't buy it on iTunes due to it only being available in the Japanese iTunes store.

And then iTunes tells me that my Apple ID is only allowed to purchase from the US iTunes store.
Dunno if your ".." was implying condescension, but I surely hope not.

You can also make a new account for the Japan store.
It's not that hard.

Just a heads up, you wouldn't be able to purchase the album without a valid JP billing address and credit card unless you have some Japan iTunes credit redeemed. So you would need to buy some JP iTunes gift cards from a reseller to go with it.

It used to be very easy to get a Japanese iTunes account. Just try to install jubeat plus (free) and you won't need to enter a credit card. Then you only need to buy Japanese iTunes gift card codes.
It's a shame most online sellers put an insane markup on those codes though, considering how easy it should be to obtain them at the local conbini...

Man, all this condescension is pretty crazy. I don't know what's "not hard" about it, because in order to make an account, I had to give them a valid Japanese address and phone number, plus I had to either give a Japanese credit card or an iTunes gift card code. I had my Japanese friend give me a Japanese address, I used my old phone number from when I visited Japan, and the same friend went to the store to buy me a 3000 yen card - all pretty big hurdles to just create an account. From the research I've done, it seems like iTunes has been making it harder to create accounts for countries you're not actually living in. So I'd appreciate it if you could get down from your high horse in the future.
On a brighter note, I'm now successfully listening to the OST, and it's wonderful.

You don't need a Japanese credit card anymore to sign up, nor do you need to have already purchased a JP iTunes card. (Although you will have to do anyways.)
If you don't have an address, just make sure the postal code is valid (and matches city, prefecture, etc.) and find an appropriate street to list.
