AM-3P would like to have a word with you. And that word is 'arse-gravy'.

The 2nd mix would like a few words with you, namely "wrong game".

Nice to hear! I hope they turn on the online functionality though, since I've heard complaints of some locations not doing so.

Ya know what really grinds my gears? Bar-Rape The bar on the back of a DDR pad is NOT ment to be hanging on during play! It is there as a safety feature to you don't fall backwards on your ass (or to keep me from losing feeling in my legs after I push too hard on a song @_@

It's not 2002. Shut up.

Um, AM-3P was introduced in 2nd Mix, unless I'm missing something. Maybe you're thinking of the first American/European Dance Dance Revolution/Dancing Stage machine?
(Oh, I failed to see the replies. Oni-91 was probably thinking of the American/European game, which indeed I wasn't referring to.)

I had to look at my calendar multiple times in disbelief, because there's no way in mother fucking hell am I reading about someone whining about using the bar in 20-GODDAMN-16.
I know I'M late to the reply party myself, but at least I ain't over a decade late.

No duplicate, says the IP. Although holy crap trying to find this out on an iPod touch whilst on a jittery bus is harder than keyhole surgery.

I'd make a joke likening it to trying to stick it in your mother, but I'm not that kind of person.

Probably more problematic is the normalization of rapidbfoot stomping (standard for boss songs), which compliments excessive bar use. That, unfortunately, is the sad reality if DDR's hope for a future, after more technologically advanced dancing games started to steal the casual crowd away from DDR.

Played every other game on round 1 that didn't involve stomping arrows and scratching discs.

I was amused at the various gameplay elements and how pretty things looked...
Crossbeats was neat, but didn't feel like there was much content in it. Don't think there was anything hard to play, even with it being the first time I play it.
Sound Voltex was just a giant mess. It looked really nice and shiny, but it wasn't for me. Disliked the gameplay and the wooshing. Not a spin-off I'll move on to if iidx died and this one stayed alive. I'd rather play lunatic rave if that ends up happening.
Groove Coaster was fun. I thought it would be so limited, but the gameplay was nice.
Taiko no Tatsujin was cute. Didn't like the song list, but had fun for the one time I'll ever play it.
Museca was alright. Songs were meh and the gimmicks were cool only for the first time play. I don't see a sequel coming for this. It feels like a game that will die like Sound Voltex.

Same tbh. Seriously, why did they not call it DDR in Europe? The logic eludes me.

Moving away from bars, question. Anyone know of some pretty good or obscure rhythm games for android? I don't own a computer, but i'm looking to try some new stuff that I haven't seen before. If this isn't the place to ask, someone tell me and i'll post this again somewhere else.

Okay, uh... ... I don't know when this was made, but there has to be some sort of program that was around before March 2002 that is capable of producing textures such as these. There's no way I can pull off some of these on my own. No way. There has to be some sort of exact algorithm for these.
