I keep having to force myself to take my medication every morning, and everytime it gets a little harder. Sigh.

help
append: 30-day challenges are always fun to do, and i found one of muse, shame i can't be arsed to do one every day so here's all thirty

1. Starlight, back in 2008 when i was only a 9-year-old lad
2. Panic Station, for reasons unknown to mankind.
3. We Are The Universe. Okay, this is a bit cheaty, but if you don't consider it a song, then We Are The Universe + Uprising.
4. Bliss. It sounds like a great ending to me.
5. Blackout, for obvious reasons.
6. Defector. This one grew on me after I thought it was really dull.
7. Lol i don't feel guilty for any of em, but if it was the song hated by most that I loved, probably Undisclosed Desires
8. Endlessly. Such a nice, soothing sound.
9. Panic Station. Just... Panic Station.
10. New Born. It's a song that can't fail.
11. Blackout at Wembley Stadium.
12. MK Ultra. It seems they've forgotten that the Resistance even existed outside of Uprising...
13. For drums, Stockholm Syndrome, for guitar, New Born, and for singing, Micro Cuts.
14. Resistance. I attribute this song for a small series I still write to this day...
15. Sunburn. Underrated to fuck.
16. Again, for the above reasons, The Resistance.
17. The Globalist. Boy, do I get slaughtered on the subreddit for this.
18. I honestly don't know. Minimum, Undisclosed Desires, The Gallery, Citizen Erased and Bliss probably make up the top 5, though.
19. Eternally Missed.
20. Uprising. I know, generic choice, bite my ass.
21. Err... Execution Commentary.
22. Undisclosed Desires. Although I don't want to get married.
23. Muscle Museum. I think it perfectly fits the feeling that I get sometimes - wanting to leave my current life completely, family and all, move to somewhere new, and have no one but myself for company. Yes, really.
24. Man of Mystery. (which i made a simfile for in TOI coughcough)
25. Muscle Museum. Again.
26. The Paul Oakenfeld New Born remix.
27. Any of them. Muse is what I go to when I feel like killing myself, and it's pretty good at helping me feel better.
28. Ooh, tough one... Gotta be Easily, though.
29. Popcorn. There's a reason for that.
30. I Appear Missing - Queens Of the Stone Age.

Had KFC today for the first time, was alright. I don't normally eat fast food, by which I mean chicken nuggets like once a month at max, so really everything besides Burger King or McDonald's I have no idea what they serve.
Anyway, really liked the little popcorn chicken things and the coleslaw, regular chicken was really greasy, dunno if that's how it always is or just what I got. 6/10, would popcorn chicken again.

"Just Play Along" |
I went out with my girlfriend to Plaza Las Americas today, the most popular mall in Puerto Rico. We happily went to the arcade, itching to practice on their DDR EXTREME machine. Note that I've always constantly hoped they would upgrade or replace the machine with a newer release, or for Time-Out to make a deal with KONAMI to get DDR Ace machines over here or something. I entered the arcade as my heart shatted when I laid my eyes upon a brand new Pump It Up PRIME cabinet.

Well then. At least you have some sort of rhythm game within a close radius. The closest to me that I know is about 20 minutes away, and it's an injured SuperNOVA 1 machine where everyone plays on Basic but me (as far as I've seen). So I barely ever get to go.

There are still plenty other arcades close to me with DDR, most notable San Patricio Plaza's GameZone, which has a DDR X3 cabinet, and is half an hour away from home, which is amazing. The problem is that I still don't have a car, so I can't go out too often and when I do it's usually with other people, who usually don't want to go to San Patricio Plaza, because it's not a very interesting mall. They usually want to go to Plaza Las Americas, which now has Pump It Up, which is really lame IMO (I played it three times, too easy, too little songs, and not my favorite type of songs.) It would be so cool though, if they opened a Dave and Busters at the soon-to-be-closed Sports Authority, which is very big and right next to this mall. You can always dream... a dream!

Closest place for me to play used to be Hollywood Fun Park, which had SuperNova. Their machine kicked the bucket, though, so now my next closest spot is Wilderness Falls Mini-Golf, which is at least 75 minutes from my place. Thankfully, that place hasn't had their machine damaged one bit, likely because none of the little kids ever play it more than once and none of the pros know that it's there.

1: The project my icon is from. I started to get extremely hyped up for it last month but by the time April hit I wasn't feeling it anymore. I literally bailed out of an RP to calibrate the characters' personalities and let the others finished it and I can't animate the characters that are left. It doesn't help no one's willing to voice act so even if I finish the script and all of the characters I can't actually animate any scenes...
Hey Cuzco by any chance you are working on a Pokemon Project? May I please see a sample of your script? I might be able to help you out with VAs. I've always wanted to take a shot at VAing as I'm pretty good with the Deem Bristow Dr. Eggman from the Sonic games.

I don't hate anything about PIU - in fact, I'm pretty good at it. I play PIU almost as well as I can play DDR. Rather, I don't like the SONG selection for PIU. Almost every song in PIU is either:
A) K-Pop
B) A Classical Remix
C) Grating Techno
Also, I can't stand people who confuse DDR with PIU.

Hey, there's also a pretty good selection of idol music in PIU. As well as K-Pop, Classical Remixes, and Grating Techno.
I used to hate Pump because I was used to DDR and would get confused while playing it, but when I gave it another shot I really liked it. Now, I still like DDR better, but I appreciate Pump not only because the more complex movements are tons of fun, but also because all the DDR/ITG machines in my area are complete shit. It feels so nice just to play on an actual good pad for once.

Ya know what really grinds my gears? Bar-Rape The bar on the back of a DDR pad is NOT ment to be hanging on during play! It is there as a safety feature to you don't fall backwards on your ass (or to keep me from losing feeling in my legs after I push too hard on a song @_@

Ummm, I'll use the bar if I want to.

I don't think DDR was ever meant to be as hard as it has become, either. The first mix had absolutely no 16ths/12ths whatsoever, and if I recall, had dance routines correspond to the basic charts of each song.Post #27016 · Posted at 2016-04-18 10:35:54am 9.3 years ago
