i'm just hoping that Fire Fire hasn't been toned down to just 8th streams.
the charts aren't bad at all, they're just not as fun as they could've been. and it's especially disappointing considering we thought they were upping the difficulty of the charts for regular songs.

I just had a (dumb) thought. Would it be possible for the trick from DDR X to work for playing Extra Stage songs on Challenge? That is, where two players both AA the Final Stage song at the same time in Versus Mode.
Maybe it's currently possible for Japanese players to play Possesion, New Decade, and Anti-Matter on Challenge. As if they'd want to at this point...

I really don't think it's possible to unlock the OMES at this time (If there is one). If they had everything unlocked from the start, then people would get tired of this game after a few months. I have a feeling there's much more goodies in this mix, but we are going to have to wait for it.Maybe it's currently possible for Japanese players to play Possesion, New Decade, and Anti-Matter on Challenge. What they should've done is have people unlock some easier songs too (like 11s+) that have been added. Even if it was just by playing X amount of songs to unlock lower leveled stuff would be nice. Maybe even costumes, characters, and gameplay options.

i dont know about that. i see this being the modern age extreme. 8 years from now, despite all the new games, THIS will be the standard arcade mix and everyone will be like "my arcade will never get 57.3rd mix, we're stuck with an old ass X2 >_>" and we'll be all like "back in my day X2 was the shit, best game ever dammit!". just watch.

Don't expect too too much, karasu said the folder will have over 70 songs (KONAMI speak for 71) and we're already at 64, so there's probably only a few left. But you never know, we'll see!

Did any more of the licenses get their charts filmed? It would be cool if we could see those ASAP, because we can easily cut the MP3s, without having to wait for line-outs.

Not only licenses can be cut from the full song, the same could be done with Decade! But I think that the strange cut it has makes it quite hard to cut it right... Though, depending on how long you weren't there, Pie posted a few songs' charts in the DDR X2 AC(Beta) folder in the simfiles section!
