If I had to guess... they will either do it next week, which I doubt, or what until shortly after KAC. Maybe at KAC haha.

About this longer wait for the interface update, I think it might have to do with the soundtrack releasing next week. That would make sense since there is a good chance for Go For The Top (Grand Finale Mix) might be unlocked in the game to tie in with the OST.

Yeah the grand Finale mix is the full version of Go for the Top, and full versions haven't been in DDR AC since 5th mix, and I don't think they're coming back. They always make mix names these days for full versions instead of just calling them "full version".

If the Grand Finale Mix makes it to the game it would be a cut version.

The Grand Finale Mix is basically a full version of Go For The Top. Konamistyle has a preview of the song right here to prove my point. http://www.konamistyle.jp/sp/ddr_1/disc.html#disc02

I assume every year we'll get HD remakes of many DDR AC classics every year in this game like next year we'll get DDR 2013 vs. DDR Extreme. Wink

I'd rather see some of the Challenge charts tacked onto "classic" charts like Kind Lady, Maximizer and Murmur Twins. Nevermind the various remixes of "classic" charts like Exotic Ethnic, Tsugaru or Midnight Blaze.

I know the remixes are a bit of a stretch but adding a Challenge chart that Konami "owns" to a song is a way to get people to play "older" stuff too. Although the Kind Lady Challenge chart is not "kind" at all.

It would be great if all the songs that are shown in DDR 2013 had Challenge charts, albeit much of them without shock arrows of course.

Oh Jesus, now you've got me thinking about the Murmur Twins Oni chart from Universe 3.
What would that be on the X-scale? Like, an 18?

The murmur twins Challenge chart abomination? It would probably be a 15.

A... 14? The Maximiser chart isn't even hard compared to the modern 15s. I think they're both songs which seem hard in retrospect, because most people have only experienced them on a controller or a keyboard, but if you actually play them on a machine, feel like easier versions of Magnetic.

"Bigger avatars when?"
I think Murmur Twins Challenge would fit as a 15, or a low 16-ish. The 16th streams don't really look all that hard, and a lot of 15s and 16s use the 16th streams. Take a look at ZETA, Mei, Nagisa no Koakuma, I'm so Happy and that one Ryu song from DDR 2013 (that I'm not even gonna bother naming). All of these have 16th streams in them, and around the same number of notes ( not the Ryu DDR 2013 song btw), so I think somewhere around that area is good.

The Grand Finale Mix is basically a full version of Go For The Top.

Did you just outright ignore the video Silverhawke posted? It's only 2 minutes and 14 seconds long; still shorter than MAX LOVE. It's not a full version; it's a remix.

But this doesn't matter anyway, as there's absolutely no evidence that this is ever going to be put on DDR 2013. Just as there's absolutely no evidence that they're going to pull another dumb HD revival gimmick like X3 had.

No.
Basically, Grand Finale Mix is just the special version played on KAC2012's Grand Finale, not full version or anything else, and no reason to be in game, either.

Seriously when I read this page I thought murmur twins received the UNIVERSE Challenge chart on AC.

For those who are commenting about my post about the game having HD remakes of older DDR games, I was only being sarcastic to the guy who posted "DDR 2013 vs. DDR 5th Mix". I even put a Wink to point out I was kidding.
