DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX (AC) (Japan)

So basically new OMES comes out, its basically a new drop out/afronova (which ive no problems with and i like the chart personally) and people complain that it isnt hard enough? Come on guys its the FIRST new unlock on the game and as Aaron keeps saying, the main group of players in japan arent people who can keep up with 16's and 17's all day, this song probably scares the crap out of most of the japanese players

I enjoy it, id rate it a bit higher than CSFILSM because its faster and has more streams, seriously you cant say its easier because of the lack of breaks and it is a good 30 or 40 bpm faster... I cant see what they'd do for challenge though without going absolutely apeshit and giving us another VDChallenge >_<

That challenge chart (if it exists) will basically be 888 v2. I've got nothing particularly bad to say about the chart, but (like most of us) for something that's the self-appointed final song in the game (so far) should probably be a bit harder. Particularly when the difficulty rating says it's on par with Max 300 (imo the base 15).

My opinion of the song so far is that I really wanna play the Doubles chart. It's good to have some new L.E.D. in DDR.

Honestly, the song is about 1:40, has 581 steps + jumps, technique requiring crossovers... I would have to guess that someone struggling to pass Max 300 might have similar issues with this song. Hard to say which one requires more stamina. 300 definitely requires more speed, but I don't want to discount this as a 15 until I play it on foot.

Asian version finally received the new patch today.

The Extra Stage/Encore Extra Stage requirements kinda complicated.
It's kinda similiar to X but....

To get NEPHILIM DELTA on EES, you have to get UNBELIEVABLE on Extra stage with:

1) Accumulated foot rating.
(remember the lvl 14 + 13 + 13?)
Max stage 3 = 40
Max stage 4 = 53
etc...

complicated part:
2) Your 9 colour stars.
I've tried playing/getting this: Lvl 15 (AA), Lvl 15 (AA), Lvl 17 (AA), Lvl 15 (AA), UNBELIEVABLE did not appear on ES.
(Overall i got 8 gold stars & 4 red stars)

When i tried this: Lvl 13 (AAA°), Lvl 14 (AAA°), Lvl 13 (AA), Lvl 13 (AAA°), UNBELIEVABLE appear on ES.
(Overall i got 9 white stars & 2 gold stars)

Failure to get UNBELIEVABLE on ES means you have to play Amalgamation on ES to get UNBELIEVABLE on EES. Hence, you have no chance to play NEPHILIM DELTA on that credit.

Since DDR X3 VS. 2nd mix isn't yet to come in my place, I notice that there are less new songlists than X2. Advantages are when all X2 songs are available (except 2 licensed songs, "Bonafide Feeling" and "Feel Good Inc" which are removed) and most of 2nd mix songs are returned, but the disadvantages are when the new licensed songs and Bemani crossovers are less.

I hope other awesome songs from Beatmania IIDX, Jubeat, Pop'n music and Sound Voltex Booth will be included in next DDR game.

I think EXTRA STAGE requirements for all of MAX to Supernova (and SN2 NA CS at least) was simply to AA your Final Stage on Expert.

Also, when exactly is Amalgamation available? From the above posts I'd guess that it's always available on Extra Stage (even if Unbelievable was there, because it would be weird to have to play less than perfect to get a specific song). Is it available on EES also?

Amalgamation is the default EXTRA STAGE, but apparently if you get enough white stars you'll instead have UNBELIEVABLE (Sparky Remix) as the EXTRA STAGE, and Amalgamation won't be available at all. It is never EES.

I'm fairly sure that there's going to be a 20 in this release.

There's currently no way to get red stars if you're at the highest My Groove Radar level, 真・足神さま. The only rating that would allow you to gain them would be 20.

I think the "AA a song level 8 or higher" was from Supernova or Supernova 2. Max- extreme were just "AA a heavy song."

DDRMAX US CS and possibly DDRMAX2 US CS had that feature. EXTREME US CS might have as well, I don't remember.
