I just kickstarted a new page. Way to go, me.
Anyway, the thing about that new computer I got a month ago? It was an Asus laptop whose keyboard had parts of it stop working five days after I got it. I then moved to another HP laptop. Why "another HP laptop"? Because the one I had before the Asus one was an HP one as well. That's the same one that I somehow screwed up when I performed a system restore on it (see my first post in this thread for details). To make matters worse, I accidentally hit Ctrl+X when moving a bunch of screenshots, savestates, and save data for the SNES emulator bsnes from an external HDD I got one day to the Asus laptop. Now they're all gone forever, and it's because I wasn't paying attention.
What important-to-me save data and screenshots did I have on that? Well, as an example of the former, I had a New Game+ run of Chrono Trigger that I didn't seem to make much progress in. An example of the latter was a large collection of screenshots I was making, and those screenshots were of grammatical mistakes and related whatnot in various games. Yes, Chrono Trigger was one of them due to its translation by Ted Woolsey. I don't have the previous computer anymore (it was returned to Best Buy), so I can't tell you anything more about the stuff I accidentally left on it.

So, today was my regional spelling bee! One of the words was "fugacity", which of course reminded me of Fuga from Pop'n Music. I also had to spell the word "balalaika", which of course reminds me of a certain Julie Ann Frost song from GF&DM, DDR and Pop'n...
Another word was "parquet", which of course reminds me of a certain duo who performed songs in Pop'n Music games.
I came in second place the last two years, but this year I came in ninth place. I'm still proud of myself - I wasn't even sure if I would come in the top 10 this year! I got out on the word "divagate", which is an antiquated word that means "divide" or "diverge". It is a verb. Because it's pronounced "div-uh-gate" (that "uh" was so ambiguous), I was thinking it was either spelled "divigate" or "divogate". I went with "divogate". (Either way, I would have been wrong.
)
I'm still extremely proud of myself!
This is my last middle school-age spelling bee - I'm hoping that high school spelling bees exist so that I can finally come regionally in first one year! To celebrate, I'm going out to dinner to the all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.

So, what you're saying is that Bemani helped you pull through at the bee...

Thanks for the heads-up! I live by a Dairy Queen...which is actually next door to the local arcade with the Pop'n Music and DDR machines!
Also, here are some videos of my school play! I'm the tallest brunette girl with the glasses and pigtails wearing an orange shirt. Sorry if the videos are potato quality.

I just realized something:
The three major ancient civilizations of South America were the Maya, the Inca and the Aztec.
The Mayans had a major city called Tikal.
There is a user on ZIv by the name of TikalFan9000.
The Incans had a major city called Cuzco.
There is a user on ZIv by the name of CuzcoBlocko.
I'm not even going to consider changing my username to something with "Tenochtitlan" in it (I love my own username!), but I demand to be the Aztec.

Oh man, the Dairy Queen on 14th & 6th in New York City is going to be soooooo packed, just for the free ice cream. It's already happened with IHOP's free buttermilk stack thing, I can sense the line is going out the door today.

A kick?!No, not just a kick. I've heard of that song ever since it came out in BeatStream アニムトライヴ and literally cried when I first listened to it. It was the first new seiya-murai feat.ALT song in nearly 3 years.
IT IS THE BEST SONG IN THAT WHOLE GAME.

The Dairy Queen I was at today was especially bad. The line for the drive-thru extended into the street. I am not kidding. These Free Ice Cream days are always hilariously busy.
Among other news, water is still wet.
