I kinda wish there had been more "catch up" DDR games for Japan, like how they had FESTIVAL and STRIKE...Maybe it would have meant more later Ultramix/Universe songs making it to arcades.

I honestly forgot Leap Year was a thing until I realized the 29th doesn't usually happen this month. I finally reformatted my old netbook and decided to try out Ubuntu MATE 15.10 this time around, so that was how I "celebrated", I guess.

I finally got DDR party collection today AND the Japanese PS2 on the same day! Holy shit, the unlock system is hard-headed! You HAVE to keep your /Game Options/ default! You HAVE to have 3 Stages set (I set 5 stages usually), and you HAVE to keep event mode off!
After every set of 3 songs, you unlock a song. (Sometimes you have to do 2 sets of 3) Also, about unlocking extra dancers, whatever dancer you choose, the dancer that's horizontally parallel to the character box you chose will be unlocked.
The song list is A+ great. In fact, this great song list is the only reason my impatience didn't get the best of me. Heh, good ol' Japan.
After every set of 3 songs, you unlock a song. (Sometimes you have to do 2 sets of 3) Also, about unlocking extra dancers, whatever dancer you choose, the dancer that's horizontally parallel to the character box you chose will be unlocked.

Kinda the same reason I hated supernovas dance master mode cause you couldn't use default unless they tell you to change it
