Release date for DDR Hottest Party 5 (PAL version) ?
24th November in Europe, 25th November in UK (allegedly from Konami Germany's release list, not proven though). Read the damn thread, it's mentioned in the page before!Quote

None as of yet.Post #2583 · Posted at 2011-10-10 08:21:09pm 14.3 years ago
They really should release another home version in Japan. It's kind of like the fact that Konami hates Europe, except now they are treating the European division like kings by releasing more DDR titles than they would with Japan.

I'm sorry, but look at the ps2 console games for Japan. They're all gold. Plus they have some games from other systems. I think it's our turn to get awesome games. Maybe they'll release it there, but I don't see why they'd want to because Japan has DDR X2s on the corner of every block

It is hard to believe that this game comes out tommorow!
I am sure Japan will get this game if it sells well in the US and Europe.

I love how we're still getting a delay, but because it's only one month apparently we're getting "special treatment".And it's the same content as the US. With other game series people would be up in arms about the same game being delayed for one month between regions, but with DDR it's the expected thing. Hmm.

This probably won't happen because DanceDanceRevolution I wasn't even acknowledged in Japan. There was no official release, either. The last DanceDanceRevolution console game for Japan was DanceDanceRevolution MUSIC FIT, which is basically DanceDanceRevolution HOTTEST PARTY 3 with Japanese licenses and BUTTERFLY (2008 X-edit). I wouldn't mind a DanceDanceRevolution MUSIC FIT 2, though. Especially if the licenses were stepped with the same quality as the first one. <3 Also, the timer on top of the site makes me nervous as it fills up because I'm very impatient and I want some DDR action! lol D:

Does someone know if MUSIC FIT did any good in sales?

Since I'm likely to have the songs ripped before Reveal 5 goes up, does anyone particuarly care about "spoilers"? It might be a good idea for me to make a .rar file of all the songs we now about right now, and then a second .rar file for the songs which haven't been revealed yet?
Alan and I are both able to rip the audio as soon as either of us gets the "DanceDanceRevolution hottest party 5/sound/DDRHP5_SOUND.brsar" file from the disc. If someone is able to extract this file before I'm able to get a copy of the game, I should be able to extract the files from it within an hour.
There's a second file which consists of the announcer reading off the names of the songs, which will effectively give us a full spoiler, but I can't remember the name of it :{

No, that's too much trouble. If people don't want to be spoiled before they get the game, then they shouldn't be spoiling themselves with the full songs either.

Well, I think I'm officially freaking out more then I already was, since I just now saw the screenshots of the game on facebook. Hurray for the 1-20 scale and challenge step charts!

I'm still impressed that we have yet to hear of any leaks, the day before release. Well done, community!

What was the last release the community was so excited about a new game? EXTREME 2?

Extreme 2 was almost entirely made up of songs we'd played at home before, and we didn't know about most of the unlocks.
I'd say this is the most any DDR community has been excited about a game, and only Extreme AC or SuperNOVA AC have even come close.

Mii's?
We see ONE Mii screenshot and instantly go "BAAW IT LOOKS AWFUL I WONT USE MIIS. ._.; Really, guys, grow up a little. One goofy screenshot doesn't mean Miis will look bad in the actual game. Yeesh.

It releases tomorrow, so excited
Unfortunately I won't be able to access my Wii until Friday (for self-imposed academic reasons), but still excited to pick up my pre-order!
I would assume reveal 5 will be available post-release, in order to rope in buyers who are still on the fence...

Actually there were very few at home revivals in Extreme 2, it was a good mix of old and new licenses with lots of KO cross overs and new KO's.

So the only way it'll look good is from its backside then, I imagine.
They could have made a more interesting screenshot to HAVE us go "OMG MII'S LOOK GOOD"

It's also an initial screenshot from June, there has been more development on the game since then.
