Double is excellent stuff, doesn't have too many huge jumps / awkward shifts like lots of Double charts tend to have

Have you tried Toxic on double? It has a similar feel to it (in the last half, anyways)

The impression I get from Crazy Love is that they made three charts, suddenly remembered it had to be a boss song, and moved the Maniac chart down to Trick to make room for a superhard chart. I haven't played DDR2010 in a couple months but I remember there being a pretty big difficulty jump between the Basic and Trick charts.

Something that sort of supports that theory is that Crazy Love doesn't have a special intro or background like New York Evolved does.

I found in youtube videos about DDR X3 songs with all difficulties. They can support to make DDR X3 simfiles.

Hell yeah. Among all doubles chart I've ever played, Toxic is currently my favorite.

How on earth was this dude able to record straight from an arcade?????? O_O

^Some arcades in Japan will sometimes be awesome enough to have a setup where you can record videos straight from the game. They were really popular with shmups since people like to show perfect plays, but it can be done to pretty much any arcade machine.

Except it requires a bunch of expensive technology. Heck, I tried to do this once but the results were black, white and distorted recordings, discolored arcade machine and the arcade staff were staring at me.

It might be a ton easier with DDR because it really is just a computer with a standard graphics card, but I am not really too sure myself. I would assume all ports use 15hz, unless it has a extra port for an A/V cable on the card, but I guess you would have to ask someone that actually goes to the arcade to give you an actual answer.
Even in Korea, you can watch a live stream of Technika 3 all day long, and I am not sure how they do that either.

Yeah Japan doesn't seem to hold a candle to Korea at recording games and live streaming. e.g. I've never seen 720p Japanese arcade footage whereas it's rare to find Technika 3 footage not uploaded in 720p (unless it's a perfect play or something) (and I'm not counting the speed uploads with shitty 720p either)
Anyway, regarding those awesome DDRX3 Double lineout videos, going by the score font it was recorded from an upgraded cabinet, not an X dedicab. Maybe it's a semi-private machine.

Crazy Love didn't have a special intro or BG because it actually had a choreography mode routine. New York Evolved had choreography charts, but due to the nature of the song, had no actual routine to go along with it.

A new course was unlocked called "HYPER", although no one knows exactly when it was unlocked. It may have come with the update that was released yesterday.
In any event, the course features no new songs and all the songs in the course are featured on the default songlist.

Makes it seem less like an unlock and more like an update. Like they wanted the course there to begin with but the game shipped without it.

I don't think we've quite reached the point where we think that X3 won't have unlocks at all.
