Wait, I thought the doubles bracket doesn't start again until the singles bracket is down to its top 8? Or has that kind of schedule suddenly changed from last year?

The problem is if a file is to be used for both singles and doubles, then it has to be entered a the same time.

There's been a few people with the doubles bracket that are confused by this so I might extend the deadline to that another week if we end up being super low on entries.

. . . or the first doubles round can just be called "Round 3" (if the brackets were kept aligned)? Otherwise, what's the actual deadline, then? A detailed schedule in the first post would be nice too.

Alright here's what we will do.

1. Because of the confusion, DOUBLES SUBMISSIONS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL MARCH 30th.

2. Here's the dates for the contest, I should have done this before hand.

March 16th - 23rd: Round 1 Singles and Doubles submissions
March 23rd - March 30th: Round 1 Singles voting and Round 1 Doubles submissions (cont)
March 30st - April 6th: Round 1 DOUBLES voting, Round 2 SINGLES submissions
April 6th - April 13th: Round 2 SINGLES voting, Round 2 DOUBLES submissions
April 13 - April 20th: Round 2 DOUBLES voting, Round 3 SINGLES submissions
April 20th - April 27th: Round 3 SINGLES voting, DOUBLES FINALS submissions
Aprile 27th - May 4th: DOUBLES FINALS Voting, Round 4 Submissions
May 4th - May 11th: Round 4 voting
May 11th - May 18th: SINGLES FINALS submissions
May 18th - May 25th: SINGLES FINALS voting.

3. A new rule is added.

NEW! 19. ONLY IF FILE HAS SINGLES AND DOUBLES: You can upload a double's chart during a singles week and vice versa, or you can update the file to add the chart based on the week up for submissions.

This should clear things up, sorry for the confusion guys. I think I'll do things a little different next time we do this.

Just so you know, I'm not sure why but when you play the file you get a super long moment of silence after the final step. None of the charts have any mines or fakes that would affect how long the chart goes on for, so I'm not sure why that's going on.

Also, I now realize that I messed up the title when I uploaded the file, so I guess I'll have to fix that when I get home.

I looked into this, and it turns out there's a stray jump on Doubles 30 seconds after the song ends. Not sure why it would be there, honestly. I can understand putting a dummy step at the end of a song while you're stepping it (I do this usually and then edit it out once I have a complete chart), but 30 seconds after the song's over?

But yeah, just delete extra jump at Beat 280 on Doubles and you should be good.

Kinda confused when deciding what song to step, and then decided to step this. Barely got time to step songs because got busy in RL. Well, not one of my Decent Simfiles, at least this is what I got when got some time stepping. Enjoy.
