I need more clarification on this method.

Theoretically, if I had Standard selected, it should automatically bring up an Unlock Challenge song I don't have, because I already have all my Standard charts unlocked. However, when I restarted the game, I swiped twice to Random, swiped left twice, and right twice, back to Random, tapped that, and hit the difficulty button 9 times, bringing back to Standard. The extra swipes (4) plus the difficulty button (9) should equal 13, but it only gave me the OSTER project remix of Turnabout Sisters. The second time I tried this, I got Wanna Be Your Special.

Is there something I'm missing?

If you have every chart on that difficulty unlocked, it won't necessarily give you any Unlock Challenge at all. I tried it myself and consistently got Turnabout Sisters on Standard too.

Oh, that sucks.

For those of you looking to play a song you don't have, someone on 2ch discovered another combination. Replace step 5 in my previous post with "Open and close the Options menu 17 times, then hit Difficulty 14 times (minus the number of extra swipes you did earlier)." It should give you Z[i] if you don't have it (i.e. your RP is less than 1500), else you should get A×E×U×G -act.1-. Unfortunately, it doesn't give you an Unlock Challenge, you just get to play it once.

According to 2ch, there are some unknown conditions under which you have to hit the Difficulty button exactly one extra time. I haven't been able to verify that though. Not that it matters much, since the event will be over in just under an hour anyway.

Yes! It's just a shame I could never put it to good use.

So one of the people on my friends list (a random player whom I added because I saw them on the RP leaderboards and wanted to play their Share Song) was lucky enough to unlock AxExUxG -act. 1- during the Random Select Festival, and the Unlock Challenge is insane. On Master, it's 500000 points to unlock the song, 50000 for 3 Jacket Pieces, 5000 for 2, or 500 for 1. And I see the points going up in increments of 100, so presumably that means the "play until the end" condition only gives 100 points instead of the usual 1000.

Also, here's the list of conditions and their SPT/Friend Combo values (again, on Master):

Hypothetically, if you could FC it every time, you could get 5000 SPT for 5 tickets and trade 4500 SPT for 12 tickets to turn a profit. But the song's ridiculously hard, so I doubt anyone's getting anywhere near FCing it even 50% of the time anytime soon.

The Valentine Campaign has started, lasting until 2/19 14:00.

A new set of missions, 107-XX, has shown up, with some rewards being a new skin, and a new song: How True Is Your Love by brinq.

Default missions are 107-01 and 107-14. I'll update this post as more information about the requirements comes in.

God, I hope most of these missions award support points instead of Link Energy which I have more than I know what to do with.

107-1: 雨の音が虹を呼ぶ (Standard, F-V?)
107-2: キミとMUSIC (Hard, F-V?)
107-14: Wanna Be Your Special (Standard only?)
107-15: Touch of Gold (Can't use F-V)
107-16: What is Wrong With The World (Hard or Master?)
107-17: 雨の音が虹を呼ぶ (Master confirmed, can't use F-V?)

The pattern seems to be that the first set of missions require F-V while the second set forbids it. Also, it seems the songs are generally about love, save for the oddball WiWWTW.

Also, clearing 107-2 unlocks 107-26 in addition to the expected 107-3.

That did the trick. Quite bad it doesn't tell you to though - I wasted six tickets on the first mission.

I would rather not be "that guy", but I've been putting off unlocking Headphone Party until now and I've just realized that I need Dynamite Sensation to get it. I started playing after it's brief promotional period so I wasn't able to acquire the song myself. If someone could friend me with a Dynamite Sensation share it would be greatly appreciated. I admit I may not have much to offer in return if you've been playing since the beginning however.

Oh, and it's a bit late but the random-festival PRNG manipulation partially worked for me too. I tried adding swipes in song select to get a Standard unlock challenge, but simply didn't get one. Next I tried the "hit difficulty 50 times" with no additional swipes and, although that consistently worked for me, it also gave me the same song every time. (Justice from guilty. )

I sent you a friend request and set my share song to Dynamite Sensation for you.
