We put this DDR Extreme out today in The Geek Easy, located in the same building as A Comic Shop in Winter Park.

I'll be installing some more memory card edits at the end of the month, so if you got any, please get in contact with me and I'll be happy to install them.

We plan on adding a second machine, and make this the best location to play in Central Florida.

Tampa here. a bit lonely, yet I only know of one to two people who are pretty much into BEMANI as much as me.

Also, if you guys do manage to get an X3 installed in Orlando, I am heading there like no tomorrow. In fact, you should make it an event and invite as many of us (and the Florida Rhythm Gaming Community people on Facebook and generally in Orlando) to it. James was the guy who was trying to get it done right? I wonder if he would be willing to bring the machine to Tampa for Metrocon and Shadocon again like last year, and hopefully to other cons like Matsuri (Orlando) and EXPCon (Was in Jacksonville, but the con was in a bit of a hiatus until not too long ago when it was announced that the con is getting rebooted for next year).

I'm blocked from the Florida Music/Rhythm group, but I'll make-do with what I can. There will be invites going out on Facebook and such.

James and I are working together, and you'll see a lot more of me in 2014.

I can't speak on behalf of him, but I don't know what the future of us bringing a machine to conventions are, because we're looking at getting two machines into Geek Easy for the time being, with the full intent of organizing our own tournaments. Who knows tho, it's really up to him in the end.

I guess it will depend on whether or not the convention is more than willing to provide him (and the machine) with amenities. I actually roomed with James during this years MetroCon and he told me how they kind of screwed him over for bringing the machine, which caused him to charge $1.00 per play throughout the weekend. a few months later I talked to Shadocon's CEO/Organizer about James and his machine and he was more than willing to give James everything he needed to bring his machine over, which he did and he ended up setting the machine for free. It would be amazing if he could bring the X3 PCB with him to the cons, but seeing as to how rare it is, I can understand if he doesn't want to.

Nonetheless, I am looking forward to driving up to Orlando for this

I was supposed to be at MetroCon, but I had a prior engagement. It was a disaster in my own eyes from the beginning.

I don't see X3 going to a convention any time soon, but that's just myself talking. In the end, it all comes down to community support. We have a GoFundMe out there that only one person to date has donated to. The original text was godawful, and I was the one who revised it, but I'll be doing a completely new one at the end of the month.

Extreme is out there for the time being so the people who want to donate but can't put their money where their mouth is can still contribute to our goals.

When I scrolled down this thread I was like...there is no way there are other Geek Easy places. I literally live next door to you guys. No interest in r21...?

ITG is a HUGE possibly. I'd do a patched r23 just to confuse people.
It's all about community interest and involvement, is it not? I want to do ITG2 in 2014 if there is enough players who would come and play it.

Having a good ITG2 machine would be amazing. I miss having a good machine around. I wonder about having two machines in that small room, though. Would it perhaps be too much competition for volume?

I'm sure we'd figure out a way to handle that. I myself as a player wouldn't want volume wars.

I don't think that's completely out of the question.
I mean we could install anything we want up to Extreme, and then we have SN1 and SN2 already in our possession.

If we did any mix changes, it would probably be like a week-long thing.
