1.6 months later:

I don't think you necessarily have to complete Hyper Master Mode to unlock everything. I've seen YouTube comments (and experienced this myself) where you just get good scores in Game Mode and it keeps saying "New Items in Stock at the Shop!"

I don't care about the item. I want the satisfaction of having that full yellow bar!!! I still haven't gotten yet.

Oh yeah, I kept getting pissed at those hard missions (I was using the controller too). So I was actually able to skip to the bosses and completed HMM without actually even trying all of the missions.

^this is why i like DDR X's SMM alot better than the hyper Master Mode, idk but HMM was a little bit...

...weird, especially some of the missions that you had to do (needed to use the controller instead of the pad).

Yeah, if they want you to move around, they shouldn't make it impossible.

Has anyone ever passed NGO? I tried, and I could only do it on one of the speed changers in Training Mode.

Actually, Arrabbiata is super easy compared to NGO, just a comparison thought.

Another way of unlocking all songs at once is if you play the game over 20 hours. (Or is that just Dancing Stage SN2 ?)

With a controller, I find Arrabbiata easier than NGO . I play Arrabbiata on 2x, while NGO's played on 1.5x because the fastest I can read arrows is about 500 bpm. I passed NGO with a A, Arrabbiata with a AA FC. Then my hands end up in ice...just kidding about that last part

on pad: Now WAY! I can only get a A on Paranoia ~HADES~ but on controller i can pass NGO with like a A. i beat it in HMM though by using cut. Some of the missions in the game are unimaginable. I mean like some make it look like you have to remember the stepchart by heart in order to pass!

Getting to the end run of NGO on foot is nothing. I can do that with zero warmup after sitting around aljl day. (just did it too).
Got maybe halfway through the run. Wasn't ready for the rurns.

And remember, I'm only a bit above average, for the amount that I've played, if at all.

Also did Outer Limits , to see if I could. Took long enough to process.
