Looking at how Vocaloid is really into this game, I shouldn't be surprised, especially at 3 out of the 4 songs chosen.

This dubstep sound really nice. The only thing I don't like at all is that vocaloid but fits good with dubstep.

So now the most recent update introduces even more touhou arranges into the game, now with songs by Kishida Kyouden & the Akeboshi Rockets, 幽閉サテライト feat. senya, Buta-Otome, and FELT.
I REALLY like the 4 songs chosen. Though I would've preferred YU-MU, this is the next best song from the Akeboshi Rockets since almost all their songs are amazing in general.

are there any songs in SDVX that have other effects besides hi-pass for the knobs and flanger or splitter for the FX buttons? just out of curiosity.

Yeah, I was quite surprised when I saw that BMS of Fighters 2008 song listed for Sound Voltex. This would be the second time a song made for a Bemani simulator was put in a Bemani game.
I still need to listen to that whole song, so I can hear why it's considered one of his best songs.

Is this the "Boss song" of the mix? Its the first song I actually think the chart is neat looking, and its not the horrible vocaloid stuff they seem to be in love with.
Edit: This game stopped getting coverage, and kinda became lost to the wind, but there is some amazing stuff on there now. Dynasty, Croix, Panic Holic, all worth a listen to IMO.

Looking at the songlist, which is ridiculously big for the first game in a series, I'm sure there is a helping of good songs in the game but I don't really feeling like wading through the vocaloid and touhou tomfoolery to get to them. The wahwah sound effect in-game is also pretty annoying to listen to after a while.
If and when this game gets a proper OST release, I might gradually go through it though.
