Do you really want it to spend 15 seconds saving to a memory card inbetween every single song?

The Wii titles were about 2 to 3 seconds tops so on there it didn't matter and was rather convenient. Hell, it wouldn't even hurt that much more on the PS2 ones anyway as from SN2 on it already takes forever and an eternity to load up even the damn results screen so seriously at that point whats another 10 seconds of wait? Or at least make it an option.

Whatever, it's not like there will ever be another PS2 release anyway so the point is moot.

SN2's results loading wasn't THAT bad. My only real complaint is the amount of time it takes to actually load the song after you pick it.

Maybe not SN2, but X and X2 felt like the PS2 was on life support loading everything.

Anyone complaining about DDR's loading times needs to play ITG CS. You can make multiple sandwiches between loading screens.

But yeah, loading times in DDR CS are getting worse release after release. Song samples are the worst offenders IMO, they take forever to start. Curiously, DDRX AC loads them SO fast, that there is no pause in the music when you go between songs checking their samples. Pretty odd and even feels like lazy programming.

sounds like my current opinion of RB3.

also, i'm too lazy to check when they put it back in, but i know X2 CS allows you to hold X or O to go to the options menu despite having the options menu in with the difficulties. so yeah, konami listened there, shut up about it.

The manual has been uploaded: Here (PDF).

Looks like there's no special unlock system here either.

Dancing Stage Hottest Fever!

Honestly, it looks like the next Disney DDR crossover... (I hope they didn't hear that)

Seriously? a 4 for Expert? That's not a good sign...

LOL at U1 doing Hip Rolls for the Balance Board mode. I had hoped those would be removed. Interesting move that they decided to add Hoping Arrows and Choreographed routines (in DDR School at least). They better have Expert this time...

No more Gimmicks? The main menu is exactly the same was what was seen at E3... What is this? So far, I'm not pleased...

Also, al2k4, the DDR Points is the unlock system but once again, no shop. And I just realized... No "Story"/"Circuit" mode?

I noticed DDR POINTS at the bottom left of that screenshot, so basically play to get points to unlock songs.

Yep, just like in HP3. I'm glad they brought that back, but I still would've liked a Shop.

Was there ever a Shop in the HOTTEST PARTY series?

No, and that's one thing I would've liked.

Hold on a second... Note this for Choreograph Mode:
"In the Expert difficulty level dance sequences are not displayed. You must mimic the movements of the dancer on-screen."

Huh? Does that mean what I think it means?
