I'm getting a Nikon Coolpix S33 Digital Camera and a PNY 256 GB SD Card to go with it. Interestingly, the memory card ($79.99) costed slightly more than the camera ($75) did.
Also I'm getting a SanDisk Ultra 32 GB Micro SD Card for my Amazon Fire Tablet, a 12-pack of blk., and the soundtrack to the movie Gone Girl.
That, and my 12-pack of Surge is still on the way as well, or actually, it's still "Preparing for Shipment". I ordered it on the first, so I hope it'll still arrive on time.

I had a Coolpix camera but it broke when I went to Puerto Rico.

Because many of his songs are very same-y.

You can't make 3 million renditions of the same song without making a few enemies.Post #25786 · Posted at 2016-01-08 03:24:50am 9.7 years ago

Believe me, I like TAG and some of his original songs (Over the Period and Saber Wing are his best), but his choices for DDR 2014 are downright awful. DDR went in just 1 installment from being a rhythm game that features techno and J-Pop to a rhythm game ABOUT techno and J-Pop. We need more House, Dance, and Eurobeat!

I just find it funny people shit on TAG when Sota is just as guilty. All in all who cares, they both make some pretty good stuff anyways.

No one's gonna talk about how dj TAKA has made 1 song about 20 times in the past 4 years?

compare Liberation, Cuvelia, ZZ, F, Last Dance, Shooting Fireball, Elpis, quaver, True Blue, refrain, RAIN, and to a lesser extent Hollywood Galaxy.

Wow, it's like we've all forgiven Yoshitaka for spending the endgame of the 2000s doing exactly the same thing.

This is why I overall prefer older BEMANI titles over newer ones. Nowadays, just like mainstream music, there isn't a whole lot of variety going on. A lot of the music is basically blending in with one another. It also doesn't help that quite a few artists that used to be prominent contributors to BEMANI are no longer with it, or barely contribute anymore.

While all of the above are valid, I still like to believe that there are diamonds in the rough with the newer BEMANI titles. For example, Nightmare before oversleep by Nekomata Master.
Unfortunately, the mainstream tidbit holds true to modern BEMANI compositions, such as hearing EDM or... egad, DENPA. (I seriously wonder how Japan even gets into that crap.) Don't get me wrong, not that I don't mind BEMANI's current style, which I don't and can actually find some enjoyment, but the idea that older iterations had more diversity holds pretty true to me. With that being said, I was so glad to hear how diverse IIDX copula's lineup is, and feel it's the best mix since 9th style. Great job to BEMANI for that.
AND THEN WE HAVE BEATSTREAM. KEK.

Yep, in midst of all the bland music going on, there are a few hidden gems. Volzza and Copula had good songlist and eclale improved from Lapistoria.
As to why Japan loves denpa? because its "cute" but only to weeaboos and those animu trash people. Seriously though, people that like shitty generic moe high school anime will like underage girls singing with terrible dubstep. they also fap to them. And im talking about the otakus in japan.

I definitely agree with the hidden gems. With the few BEMANI games that I follow, there's always a selection of songs that I really love. The selection, however, just gets lower each year.
