...i read the song list and OMG MC HAMMER? EPIC WIN! XD!!!
i listened to the five songs listed by pie, and i gotta admit, my favorites so far are Wine Red and Put 'Em Up...
man now i REALLY can't wait for X to come out now, and finally Konami releases the partial song list...for a second i thought they would wait until the release but nope =)

What seems really interesting to me is what the new Xmixes may be. If they are anything like a true Nonstop Megamix, or even like the Power Mixes from the XBOX versions, then I am going to be a truly happy camper!

I gotta say Sound of Freedom is a great song, its about time we get some songs with good beats.

Oh Man Soooooo happy On The Break is on this mix. Tho I now wonder if we'll get Why Not....Two Darwin songs doesn't seem likely. O wells At least we got the newer one as anyone of us can play Why Not in other ways right now.

Actually its likely that we will get it, because of a couple of things
1st it wasn't on DDR Supernova 2 for USA, and 2 its a classic song

Er, okay.
As for the Xmixes, if they're like the Power Mixes, use creative transitions like UM4, not the basic one song into another pattern into which it has morphed.

Thank goodness we're getting this info now though, I sure am happy to see it
XMixes should be fun too, I can't wait to see hear these. It would be neat if it ended up similar to Scripted Connection from IIDX, with them actually fitting together.

because they arent remixes. i cant believe i'm the only one here to think of this, but the reason no one picked up on it being a remix, and it being referred to as a "new arrangement" is because thats all it is. nothing is different about the song butterfly, its just a different cut than that found in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, extreme, party collection, and UM3.
its not hard to figure out, guys. hopefully its closer to 2 minutes long and resembles the oni steps of the original.

I'm betting that the X-edits are remixes in the same way that groove radar specials were. Same song file, but the step charts are changed or rearranged.

It could also be that the songs are higher quality. The Groove Radar specials actually sound clearer than their original songs.

So it's the same song? That WOULD explain it more. Dub-I-Dub being a 13 and someone saying that it looks way harder than it used to be.

you and a hundred others really its not that many people are looking forward to the release of these ddr games, because they think DDR games are just Guitar Heros where they just keep coming, as long as people keep buying them.
But this one might be different, it has a very unique music selection, and well I'm looking forward to DDR X. I just can't believe it its already 4 weeks away before the release, what am I going to do in that short time? I mean long time
