Since I recently got some birthday money from my dad, I've been looking at stuff on Amazon and had my eyes set on these for a few days. I almost bought the last pair of size 44s, but I think my dad would be a bit disappointed in me if I bought something as unusual as these, so I looked around further and discovered something kinda the same, but not quite as ridiculous, and a whole lot less costly.

They're called Thai Fisherman Pants and they look pretty comfy. They come in all sorts of different colors, but these are the color I bought, and I bought two pairs of them for about half the cost of those Kikwears. I was also able to afford two long-sleeve T-Shirts, plain Black, and a pair of Sweatpants. Not too shabby for 60 bucks.

I actually like the voice for the X-onwards announcer, but his lines are just so awful. At least the later X games had the nerve to remove most of his annoying tracks, leaving only a few that actively grind my gears.

Especially when he sing-songs while a song is currently playing. It makes me cringe everytime I hear it.

These are the only tracks in DDRX I actually like:
-Get Up N Move (2008 X Edit)
-Hero (2008 X Edit)
-U Can't Touch This
-Blind Justice
-Poseidon
-Saber Wing (both versions)
-Shades of Grey
-stealth
-Uranus
-Why Not
-The boss songs (all of them are good)
That's only about 17 songs in total that I avidly enjoy. With most other games, I have around 30+ favorites, but not here.

We must be talking CS DDR X with all of the SN2 songs I'm seeing on the list.
DDR X just seems like they fixed or changed a ton of problems that were really not problems. The new rating system was a good edition because there was a big gab between Bag
and PARANOiA Hades
despite both being rated 10s. That and SuperNOVA 2 has a ton of wrong ratings. A ton of the new songs are really forgettable, the announcer was annoying as hell, and the IU looked like it was made in a half hour. It felt like it took a piss on all of the current DDR players to find a new fanbase and it failed.
Not to mention the DDR X US AC cab being downright garbage that should not have even been released with how many bugs it had. This alone pretty much killed DDR in the arcades outside of Japan. X2 fixed a ton of these issues but at this point, no arcade was going to drop $10k on a new machine to have another broken product.
The only two things DDR X did right was a new rating system despite still having some kinks to work out (I would have just extended the ratings up to 12 ala IIDX and now REFLEC BEAT) and the charts overall for the songs are pretty good. They tried some new things and they did not work along with getting rid of things that did work. It was a lose lose.
Any life DDR had left after DDR X, DDR 2010 killed off. With half of the songs and awful charts from DDR 2010 being in DDR X3, I bet this turned off a ton of Japan players and at this point, there was more innovative music games to play now. DDR is dead in the states but in Japan, it's not looking good. That and Konami hardly putting anything to the game anymore doesn't help. Hard to care about DDR when Konami isn't either.

here's the thing, ddr isn't dead until konami drops support for it. it didn't die at X because there have been 3 new mixes since then.
honestly though the faster it dies the better

So... you're saying that DDR X ruined DDR? Just like Gizmondo made its entire company (Tiger Telematics) go under and disappear permanently?

Never thought I'd say this but I agree.. The charts are awful compared to Pump and other BEMANI games. I don't want it to die though because I'm tired of arcade owners having to tell customers that DDR isn't made anymore (and they don't even bother playing Pump because of the layout). At the same time, I hope the new UI wouldn't bother players.
