Who said anything about MaxX Unlimited? The best I've ever done that on keyboard is 'AA', and I can't even beat it on a pad yet. The jumps near the end are too fast for me to do. I can't even AAA regular songs on a pad; just a keyboard.

I could only AAA on a Keyboard or PS2 (AND ONLY PS2) Controller.

Yeah, what's the deal with people always mixing up DDR for PIU? The top of the machine is specifically labeled, and the arrow design is different! I rarely see people mix up DDR and ITG, so what's with PIU somehow being DDR in the eyes of casuals?

Meaning the people behind it couldn't identify their own game correctly.

I think this is why me and some others are making DDRMAX4/Supernova3/so on. To me, DDR lost its character after X and is all...hammy.

It lost its character arguably after the 573 era. EXTREME was the last great mix in my eyes.

Exactly.

Even the mixes WAY before that (1st-5th mix) have some sort of... cartoony feel.

My favourite 'feel' was always the 'street' feel the first three mixes presented, although I liked 5th's theme as well.
