It's a joke about how no one really likes the new Metal Gear Solid game since they decided to jump the shark and go do a zombies theme. Which is basically a dumb decision on Konami's part.

It's their franchise. As much as he would like you to think so, Kojima wasn't the only person ever to work on Metal Gear.

Hell, Inafune's gone from Capcom but everyone pines for a new Mega Man...

Funny you should mention it, because there was a cancelled third person shooter that bared the Mega Man name, and I'm 99.9% sure people would've gone ballistic over its' existence much like the Devil May Cry reboot.

Also I was never a huge X fan so I likely would've liked the reboot. Looks VERY Metroid Prime.

I just got back from a rather lovely weekend down London with Taro, LAER and Telpie. Got a few credits on A in there, I really like what I'm seeing. As it's in an X cab I can't completely pass full judgement on it but the game is solid, I'm liking the Extra Stage system a lot, there's a LOT to play for in it so there's a fair bit of it to work with straight out of the box.

My understanding is that the Baby-lon Adventure event isn't available for the UK location test as I didn't see anything come up about it at any point during my albeit short time playing A this weekend?

Or did I just miss something obvious?

I mean i've not been able to play it since that one time we bumped into each other but maybe its a premium only event ? Assuming its still £2 for premium at LV meaning nobodys going to pay it.

What's the software version in the top left corner of the title screen?

When I was there on Friday it was £1 Premium, also doubles premium too I think.

No Baby-lon though.

I believe you mean your S!ck performance. Though it really does kinda suck that your run was...eaten.

I think that does, however, mark the first straight-up crash of DDR A.

I'm certain it's not the first crash. I talked to someone who goes to play at one of my local D&B's and she said that the game crashed mid-session multiple times before the location got a replacement PC. I'm sure other people at other US locations have had this issue, too.

I don't think I've seen 2-1000-0045 before.

The "common" crash that people have been running into is 2-1000-000-1073741819, but that was on an older software version, and this particular crash also affected Japan's X cabs.

Yes, I had this happen three times, all on August 1, 2016 and at Dave & Buster's Westchester:

1. Was playing HAPPY*ANGEL and the game lagged, and the arrows became off-sync. A few seconds later, the machine crashed with An attempt to start the application has failed:

2. When I finished TRIP MACHINE (luv mix), the results screen wouldn't come up and the game crashed at the CLEAR screen and yielded an Unknown Hard Error.

3. I was about to PFC MAX 300 after PFC'ing TSUGARU (my 5th) when I got the same error as #1 above, so I couldn't get my 6th PFC.

Oh geez, I didn't realize there were crashes happening all over the place. I figured if there were they'd get posted more.

Guess this is what I get when I don't actually have a machine anywhere near me, forcing me to get all of my data about the game from other people.

DDR crashing? Is that rare or does it happen often?
