That's going way over my head. How does that extra stage system work?

you activate the normal requirements for extra stage, like AA a final stage song (or whatever it is in X2) and then you are given access to a new song folder (in this case Replicant D-Action). once you enter the folder there is a choice of extra stage exclusive songs for you to pick. once you enter the folder you can't go back. if it's anything like IIDX17, once all the extra stage songs have been unlocked and played, you will probably get a final EES.

Ah well, I guess I was wrong about the colors thing. But, anyway, they have New Decade without having any circles for Pierce the Sky, Sakura Sunrise, or Shiny World, so I guess earning circles is achieved by something other than an AA on .

Or Anti-Matter could be the EES. Likely not, though.

Oh man, awesome. You know Konami's doing something good when even pipe dreams are being fulfilled. C'mon, So Deep!

Shiny Gate sounds a lot better than I expected, and these background overlays they give the boss songs are a nice touch. This is easily one of the best arcade mixes of DDR ever, and we haven't even seen all the unlocks yet. I really have to commend the direction with which they chose to take this mix.

Shiny World sounds really, really good, and that chart looks like loads of fun. favourite X2 boss so far
also i'm surprised that there are no new X2 vids on nico. weird

Judging from the pic, it looks like you have to play on the Risky mod in order to unlock this. Can't wait to see a video

Wow, even the boss songs have great charts .

that's new, but i'm just making an educated guess and saying that you get something in the circles when filling certain criteria with the boss songs and filling all the circles gets you EES.

I think this game has rekindled my interest in DDR after X. Borrowing ideas from IIDX is definatly a good thing.

Has anyone made a video of scolling through the old folders and showing off the banners for old songs yet?
