New records from last week










AAA #65



Old record from 2 weeks ago, new current record is 2 Greats.

Had a chance to play on Thursday. Been busy with some other stuff lately but I have been trying to get out at least once a week to go play. Wasn't sure how well I was going to do as I started off with very bad MA's (like 40 plus perfects), but after I did some warmups I got into the zone.

AAA#922


AAA#923 - I would also like to take the time to point out that I am sick of this song. All I hear all day at work is this song in the demo loop of the game and it gets so damn annoying. The chart itself isn't half bad, but some parts should have been altered. Also the timing sucks on SN2 for this song.


AAA#924 - Finally found out the mistakes I have been making. I was always too late on some of the notes, not early. The PFC AAA shortly after this realization. The Marvelous window really helped me on this one (that and it isn't as wonky as playing it on SN).


AAA#925 - VERY EASY. Didn't want to AAA it until I got the original though. Took only two tries after I found the timing of the one gimmick.


AAA#926 - Oh hey its not broken! x3 really helped too.


AAA#927 - Couldn't time this for the life of me on SN or EXTREME. I am 90% sure it has synching issues on SN too. Had no issues with it on SN2. Came faster then I expected too.


So pretty good day on my end. I have 12 songs left on EXTREME, some are easy so I'll try to get those next time I go in and play. Only MAX 300 left on DDRMAX, and I'll have to see how well I play that on EXTREME. I did terrible when I played it on SN for some reason. SN2 folder is pretty much done at this point as well. I might be able to snag a few more, but there is not much left besides the boss songs.

At first I wasn't sure if I should play yesterday but I ended up doing so, and am I glad I did. Although I got completely sidetracked from my initial objective (cleaning up SuperNOVA and AAAing Moonster) I am extremely happy with how things turned out.

AAA#935 - Supposedly this is easier on EXTREME. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my timing on one section so the Marvelous window helped me out for that reason.


AAA#936 - One of my worst MA's ever. Just happy its out of the way honestly. Still bummed about that 38P and 1G run I hard earlier in the day considering I nearly doubled that on my PFC run.


AAA#937 - SO OVERDUE. My goodness this is cake for me now. I never honestly realized how close some of those notes are together. You could almost treat two separate arrows as jumps and still get a Perfect or Marvelous on both arrows.


AAA#938 - AAA'd twice. Always had issues at the end because of the jacks at the high speed. Pads would miss fire, but I learned how to step on the panels to prevent the issue from happening a majority of the time.

AAA#939 - And I just had o get this one with everything else. So happy I didn't play it as much as some people have had to. I never really played this song on EXTREME... Probably only two or three times ever honestly. So happy I got this within one hour of actually trying to get the AAA.


I am still pretty upset over this run considering the MA is really good for this song...


And because of those last 5 AAA's that means there is only 7 songs left on EXTREME for me... And they are all 10 footers lol


Going to try to get PS when I go in to play next. I still want to clean up SuperNOVA a bit while I am at it, then I am probably going to jump onto Doubles. My stamina sucks atm so I am not sure how well I will do on the other MAX songs.

Gracious, D... If 1 Great is a Black Flag, what should 1 Perfect be called?

I believe the official term is "Gold Flag".

I've called them White Flags. It's what I heard a long time ago back in extreme days. I remember thinking, "thats cool, but I don't think we ever need to use that term." Guess I was wrong.

I think it's also funny to call them a quintnine. I quinted it.
