Let It Out

Today is my 10 month anniversary with my girlfriend, whose second name is "Muny" as I prefer to call her. This morning I will wake her up singing GOLD RUSH, and replace the lyrics with "dating datin' Muny!" and the IIDX/DDR games with months and random places we've dated, finishing with HAPPY ANIVERUSARIIIIIIIII!!!!

Well, that's more romantic than anything I've ever seen.

Sonic Adventure 2 was one of my most beloved childhood games. I hadn't played it in around six years until today.

I just bought it on XBLA.

My childhood is ruined.

I love the dreamcast Sonic Adventures. Sonic Adventure 1 was my first ever game I started, when I was 5.

ALSO, was I the only one who used to pronounce Afronova "Uh-Fro-Nuh-Vuh" before the announcer in DDR '10 pronounced it "Afro-Nova"?

I still like Sonic Adventure 2 but it never resonated with me as much as the first one. I'm sure this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I actually thought Sonic Heroes was a better game than Adventure 2. Pretty much everything after Heroes was awful, though. Colors and Generations were pretty legit, though, and Unleashed was decent enough. Lost World is okay too.

We don't talk about Sonic Boom, though.

What I don't like about Heroes is the fact that you need to finish basically the same game 3 times (plus Chaotix's... thing) to 100% it. Plus, Chaotix's mission gameplay is not fun. At all.

Everything about Adventure 2's dark story mode or whatever the fuck it was called just came across as being 2edgy4me.

But yeah, I didn't enjoy the Chaotix missions in Heroes at all haha

This. It kind of kills the point of having difficulty levels when you have to do them all anyway AND do all of the bonus levels to get the final story. I also think there's parts where the level are just way too damn long. I'm not a fan of the 10-15 min mega large Sonic levels. Team Rose despite being super easy at times is the funnest of the three because the longest level in that is about 7 mins tops.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were my childhood games. Sonic Adventure 1 was my first ever game I played when I was 5 years old. Then I started playing Sonic Adventure 2 a couple weeks later.

When I was 7, I bought Sonic Heroes, and I grew up playing Sonic Heroes. I loved the game, enjoyed SOME of the Chaotix missions...until the Mystic Mansion stage where you had to burn every single torch.

When I bought Sonic '06 when I was about 13 years old, the game made me rage quit so many times. I sold it back at game stop and gave up with Sonic games.... that was until Sonic Colors was advertised.

At my 15th birthday, Sonic Colors was a great great game. I bought that, beat the game, then Sonic Generations was already being advertised.

A year later, I purchased Sonic Generations. It wasn't bad...but it wasn't the best either. There could've been better choices with the chosen stage from each of the Sonic Games. Sonic Generations is the final good Sonic game. The games after that were either remakes, sequels, or shitty games.

So Today, I went to a DDR/PIU meetup, and aside from my baby being out of commission as you will see below, I had a good time.

Off-topic;

I made a custom-made DDR game called DDR Galaxy. I own completely nothing in this Patch. The only thing I literally did on my own is add to songs that didn't have the Beginner difficulty.
