I currently switched to a Macbook Pro. I've had it for a few days and I am actually satisfied with it. I am currently on the hunt to find GOOD drawing/design software on the Mac, then I found out that programs like Paint Tool SAi (which I used the frequently in my old laptop) are PC-exclusive. And most software I see like "Paint for Mac" and "Manga Studio" have to be bought. So I have to find decent freemium ones first like Sketchbook and Pixelmator before resorting to illegally get Photoshop. I know not all of you are into designing and arts, but I want to see what your suggestions are.

In short: Can't find "good" free art programs on Mac. Resorting to getting cracked versions for paid software soon. I need suggestions

I'm blazed right now and this is the funniest thing ever.

Went to Round 1 in Tukwila today and actually got to play a Bemani game that wasn't out of date.

First impressions of:
÷Beatmania IIDX PENDUAL: Not much to note here other than it being kinda busy visually but damn that timing window is so tight compared to CS. Took me two sessions just to get marginally used to it.

÷Sound Voltex: it's fun and seems easier to start out on than a lot of the other games. One session in and I was able to clear a ADV chart with relative ease. Also, the button spacing is so weird since I'm used to playing with a smaller gap between buttons from IIDX. I find it very hard to go from Sound Voltex to IIDX simply because the timing is so different.

GITADORA: The addition of the ride cymbol and floor Tom make the game seem new even if it is just a couple of extra pads. The interface is nice and easy to use.

Gimp is pretty much free Photoshop, but there's a little more of a learning curve to it. But if you already know your way around Photoshop, you should be fine since Gimp isn't that much more difficult to use.

The guy even said it was his fault. I would say I agree with the video. Do I think it was a bit extreme to fire him? Yes. Do I think he should have been reprimanded somehow? Yes.

Give me more examples of Nintendo doing stuff like this, then we'll talk about comparing them to Konami. I mean, according to the source, Konami's Internal Audit Office will reach out to employers of ex-Konami staff just to say "how awful these former workers were". That's insane. Firing a guy for breaking NDA is harsh, but not quite insane.
