*mentions Auto*
Can we clear the fog and just tell everyone how to activate Auto on the retail games? Hi1auz or whoever he/she is had it enabled on his earlier and frankly crappy looking Supernova vids and he seemed to get it running on DDR II (Valkyrie Dimension vid). Is it even real or is it a load of E.T. Rocky Mountain Oysters?

this is the only Autoplay code for codebreaker out there. No IDEA for autoplay on anything BUT this.
EDIT : after doing some research, you can get autoplay working on SN1(JP) SN2(JP) and DDR II.
DDR II is a lost Gecko code i believe.
I provided SN2

We know that Make It Better is a loose "cover" of "Money," and "My Summer Love," is a loose "cover" of an Ace of Base song I can't remember at the moment
I'd say that Funk Boogie is inspired by Herbie Hancock's "Chameleon," from the 1973 "Head Hunters," album.
Funk Boogie - https://youtu.be/rQkq8A7PNJk
Chameleon - https://youtu.be/UbkqE4fpvdI
though I'm pretty someone else might have made this connection already.

Could it be The Sign? Now that you mention it, the first verse of My Summer Love sounds oddly similar to The Sign's chorusPost #2464 · Posted at 2021-11-09 12:56:09pm 3.5 years ago

Starting DDR X2 I think, Silent Hill's drum beats were significantly more toned down than normal. However, the song previews still use the old version of the song, where the drums were still audible.
Check the preview at the very start of the video and the chorus (what the preview uses) at 0:55. I really notice the change in the drum structure. It still persists up to A20 PLUS, I believe.

Twitter user https://twitter.com/_987123879113 has found a secret CONFIDENTIAL option on DDR EXTREME JP CS allowing you to view character models with just a button combination.
I just got it to work and ill post some screen shots.
The game has a secret screen to view the different routines for all the dancing characters. To access it, do the following:
1.- Go to the Dancer Options screen
2.- Select "RANDOM ALL" on either 1P Character, 2P Character, or Extra Character lines.
3.- On the Player 2 controller, hold LEFT button on D-Pad so it changes from "RANDOM ALL" to "YUNI(4th)"
4.- While still holding P2 left, hold P2 circle + L1 + R1 + L3 + R3
5.- Wait 10 sec until the screen changes.
The following screens are then used with the P1 controller.
"CONFIDENTIAL" screen
Up/Down : Change character
Left/Right : Change "motion" (routine)
Circle : Go to the next screen
Cross : Go back to the Dancer Options screen
Character display
Left/Right : Rotate the character in the X axis.
Up/Down : Rotate the character in the Y axis.
Square : Toggle the floor under the character.
L1 : Zoom Out.
L2 : Zoom In.
R1 : Pan Up.
R2 : Pan Down.
Circle (hold) : Manually play the routine.
Cross : Go back to the previous screen.
Start : Play the routine automatically.
Select : Change the shading/rendering style of the character.
While playing the chosen routine by holding Circle, all the other buttons can be used.
On the other hand, while playing the routine automatically the only things that can be done are toggling the floor and changing the shading. In this mode, holding Circle pauses the routine.

Only Extreme has this feature. but DDRMAX US CS does have a screenshot feature for some reason but its completely pointless to us.

In DDR 2ndReMIX, while the game runs at 30 FPS when playing in Arcade/Event Mode, it actually runs at 60 FPS during Training Mode, Nonstop Mode, and Endless Mode.
[Edit: DDR 1st (PS1) Training Mode also runs at 60 FPS.]

Hi. I'm back with another gratuitous bump.
In DDR UNIVERSE, menu music data is stored in a similar way to the regular songs. As a result, you can mix and match menu music with playable charts, and can therefore contrive UI and menu music into existing song slots. The results are uneven and not terribly revelatory, but I thought it was a fun little experiment.
I know DDR UNIVERSE 2 exhibits identical behavior albeit with different music, so maybe I'll look at that soon. Sorry for the potato video quality, my capture card is almost a decade old by now.

I had an audio thing happen once and I thought it was a disc read error but I wonder if it was some other glitch.

I'm not sure if someone else beat me to this, but I got the DDR UNIVERSE 3 prototype to run on 360 hardware and then told the game that I had downloaded the five licensed covers. They seem to work and have full data, but I, admittedly, have not played all of them yet. They all appear in the song wheel and have difficulty/groove radar data.
Video of whatever stepdata there is to come. I moved recently and don't know where my capture card is. I'll try to do this for BROKEN MY HEART Cusimo & Co. Starlite Remix, Me and My Friends, and ON THE JAZZ Smooth House Mix in a bit.

I expected a lot worse for scrapped covers. It's really cool that you were able to preserve that content.

did u know there's more songs though
broken my heart (cusimo & co mix), me and my friends, on the jazz remix; all of them were previously dlc in universe1
they all have complete data and based on what you posted should be playable in theory

Yeah, I am going to get to those Eventually (TM) but I wanted to cover the songs that don't appear elsewhere first. I was too frustrated from trying to get the prototype to work on an actual 360 to dive much deeper after I got those five songs to appear. I don't know my way around Xenia but there's probably a way to edit the data to make them appear in an emulator. I'm just more familiar with the 360 SDK suite.broken my heart (cusimo & co mix), me and my friends, on the jazz remix; all of them were previously dlc in universe1

EDIT: If there is a way you can get to a virtual DLC content folder (usually stored on the root of a physical 360 storage unit/HDD) in Xenia and add/edit its contents then making all of the DLC appear would be pretty trivial.

B4U Glorious Style was mentioned in the Japanese CS version of SuperNOVA 2, which I think is the only time it appeared outside of 5th Mix. (Albeit it's not playable).

Okay so it's entirely possible the covers were axed because they were double booked for Rock Revolution?
Both covers were made by Steve Ouimette and were also in Rock Revolution.
Universe 3 and Rock Revolution were released both in the same year too.
*lo shrug*
