One of the main machines I used to play on was a DDR Megamix. Earlier versions of it had freeze arrows looking like blocks, no unlock codes, and some other bullshit like the infamous DONT FALL OFF warning screen but later versions functioned just like a regular Extreme.

The Cat Returns is actually one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies, haha. It's still very Miyazaki-esque despite it being directed by someone else.

Also noticed how he selected "Center Of the Heart" and it gave him Butterfly instead.

Highly considering going to Anime Weekend Atlanta in a couple months. Also considering doing a cosplay of another long-hair-and-goatee character. So here's the candidates I'm considering.
Kung Lao - Mortal Kombat X
Shang Tsung - Mortal Kombat 9
Jia Xu - Dynasty Warriors 7
Kung Lao
+ The blade-hat is automatic badassery.
+ Most of his arms are covered up, so I don't need to be muscular to pull off the look.
- I would need to learn how to braid my hair.
- Dressing as Kung Lao may give the assumption that I play as Kung Lao, and that may lead to awkwardness if someone comes up to me trying to talk turkey with me.
Shang Tsung
+ Since MK9 has fallen out of popularity, there's less risk of having to discuss gameplay with people.
+ Exposed chest and arms means easier time keeping cool during warm months when I inevitably repeat the cosplay.
- Said exposure also means I can get chilly more easily during colder months.
- Shang Tsung has muscle. I do not have muscle.
Jia Xu
+ Less-known character means less potential for some asshole to tell me what's wrong with the outfit.
+ Weapon is a chain and sickle. Sickles are fucking awesome.
- Some conventions with strict rules about weapons may frown upon or outright ban the chain weapon.
- "Who the hell is Jia Xu?"
