Let It Out

I know that feel, dude. From the end of freshman year to the end of fall semester of sophomore year, 5 of my close friends either transferred or dropped out. It sucked. Just do your best to keep in contact with them, it's too easy to just disconnect from them because they aren't around. Trust me, I'm the worst at keeping in contact with old friends, and I hate myself for it.

I got so scared earlier. I was driving a mini van, and I had to follow my stepdad back home. Now, I have no experience with following other cars, so things became disastrous when 3 cars cut me off. I had to make a bunch of turns, one of which resulted in me driving off the road for like 5 seconds. I got a heart attack from almost hitting the guard rails. Now maybe I just wasn't used to driving larger cars like a mini van, but I'm glad I'm still alive in one piece. From now on, I'll only be driving my Corolla S. If someone asks me to drive in larger cars, I will delightfully decline.

I'm about to be upgraded to a box van at work. Had to do a DOT physical since it's 10,000+ lbs. Admittedly a little intimidated. But then again, so was I when I first found out I had to drive a commercial van for work. 70,000 miles later, I find I'm pretty comfortable.

Just have to keep driving the things. What's great is that larger vehicles hold a larger presence on the road, so you can stand your ground when people want to be dicks. They either go around you, or yield. Either way, you get your way more often than in a small vehicle.

So yes, perfectly understandable. But if you get the chance, I'd say the practice is always good.
