I'm sure you can get it changed if you ask/PM Al or one of the mods. As long as not everyone is doing it to the point that no one knows who's who., then I don't see the issue.

Then again, I'm not Al or one of the mods. Tongue

The hell is with that background video?

...while we're at it, where are the gameplay elements???

He's really intent on having the background video be as visible as possible (what? can't you just letterbox it so that theme elements won't disrupt it?).

His idea isn't that bad, minimalism can work. However, he....can't make fitting background movies. Somehow, he's THAT bad. Move Your Feet already has a music video, he could have used that. This one looks like random snippets of other cartoons. The Princess and the Frog, Fantasia 3, Betty, Popeye, Futurama, The Simpsons, Maurice Sendak (what? how?), and at least 4 other things I can't identify.

My solution would be to ask someone else to direct the videos. Someone more experienced that can make animations for each song, something similar to IIDX.

Albeit, I was actually thinking of doing something similar (having a simfile with a cartoon vaguely similar to the song as the background movie), though, but to see how funny it would pay off, since I KNEW it was inane and defied logic.

Anyone here use Etnies when playing ITG and whatnot?

I do from time to time. I've played in a pair of Etnies Faders and a few pairs of the Etnies Callicut over the years and other than Vans, they're the only skate shoes I can really play dancey games in at all.

Vans aren't that bad, they're typically what I play in.

However don't ever play in Toms, you're more unsteady than a baby giraffe trying to walk in them. I still wear them while I play though because I'm a little shit.

So today I got my wisdom teeth removed and somehow I felt really calm going into the procedure. It was a wonderful success and I'm home recovering and watching some of my favorite movies. I have been eating some ice cream and enjoyed a lot of pudding of all different flavors. All I can say for myself is that I would need to allow time for myself to back in good DDR shape.

Oh good god...

Take a look at the Move Your Feet video I posted again. Look at the ending steps very carefully.

THAT FUCKING UP ARROW IN BETWEEN A JUMP FREEZE.

Is this supposed to be played with the keyboard? This girl s playing it on the pad, how are you supposed to achieve a perfect score with this? (Well, there's the one UH LA LA chart, but...)

This is not looking good. I knew Daniel's project was a bit shoddy, but I didn't know step chart ERRORS were in too!

You're right. Are three-notes common on it?

Yes, having to press more than two notes at once is major feature of ITG As well as PIU.

I see... But in the video, Daniel has people play his game with a pad. The woman clearly couldn't do it. I know she got an E, but still, that third note is really unfair.

Even when I was making DDRMAX 4 in 2013, I would have noticed something like that immediately and fixed it.
