The HD banner says "DOLGLAS" instead of "DOUGLAS"

I hope Konami will fix the name in the USA release.
I doubt it. I don't think X3 will ever be released outside of Asia.

The banner of Stomp to My Beat had JS1B instead of JS16. One of the following are possible scenarios about the wrong banners(don't take it seriously):

1. Some banners were being remade while they were half-asleep.
2. They rushed the remaking of the banners and didn't bother to check for errors.
3. It was intentional.

I could see how that typo happened as the 'U' in the original banner does look squished on one side making it look kind of like an 'L'. Although why the removed the "Featuring" part in the banner is beyond me.

Yeah, so the game has been out for over a month now (officially or otherwise) and we have had no additional unlock content available other than enjoy unlocks. What gives?

Another thing to point out they misspelled The Remix of Put Your Faith In Me.

That one's probably intentional. It was like that in the original 2ndMIX.

The 2ndMIX version of the Brilliant 2U (Orchestra-Groove) and Put Your Faith In Me (Jazzy Groove) banners have oddly spelt subtitles.

Can anyone explain this? I played a round with someone, we both play in a similar style. He didn't have an eAmuse card, I did, but I don't think it matters for this. Why did I burn almost 1/3 fewer calories than he did when our play styles were more or less the same and he wasn't ghost stepping (not that there is much room for that), nothing to add almost 3x the number of steps to the song anyways.

Aeron/Anonywolf> That song is listed as by JS16 in the credits screen between games (when nobody is playing; that big wall of text). So much for consistency.

I didn't think this was the case, but are the censors analog and somehow accounting for how hard you step? That's really strange regardless. Or maybe they think the stress from getting Greats will burn more calories!

Also from trying it out on Workout mode, it appears that they make heavier weights burn more calories. At least they did when I set my weight to the maximum and burn shitloads on a controller by button mashing.

yes, it does. Something about weight times MET's times minutes of doing the exercise times 0.48. Don't ask me why it's so complex. Also, something like DDR would be 5 MET's so you can mentally calculate it if you want

edit: The Journal of Sports Sciences provides a calorie expenditure formula for each gender. Men use the following formula: Calories Burned = [(Age x 0.2017) -- (Weight x 0.09036) + (Heart Rate x 0.6309) -- 55.0969] x Time / 4.184. Women use the following formula: Calories Burned = [(Age x 0.074) -- (Weight x 0.05741) + (Heart Rate x 0.4472) -- 20.4022] x Time / 4.184.

This doesn't make sense but OK. Theres something about it on Wii fit I'll check it later.

Huh, the default weight for people without e-amuse must be rather high.

i think the calorie burn calculation is affected for the Weight you set in the e-AMUSEMENT profile. When its on local mode or not eAMUSE profiles, it goes to a standard (dunno what is it).

I believe that is true too, though when you first enter your weight (for your settings to be saved to your eAmuse account), the initial default weight is 70.0kg, which is still a bit heavy for the average Japanese player IMHO but not bad. I'm set at 72.0kg.

What is even more odd is that after taking a look at the PFCs done by other Japanese players, I'm still burning significantly fewer calories (half to 1/3 in some cases), so I am not sure what is going on. This doesn't affect anything in the game and it is just a number, but I was curious why mine tended to be so low.

Is Heavy Rotation really by AKB48 or is it a cover?
