beatmania IIDX 23 copula (AC)

Don't knock till you try it. BMUS might be weak compared to its Japanese counterpart, but it is still a good enough style to offer some good fun. It's also much cheaper for someone looking to test the waters.

I think this game gets a lot of flack due to a collection of various expecations people had based on what they got from the Japanese versions. If you're just looking for the core IIDX gameplay, it delivers that just like any other.


Putting that aside, I've gotta say Copula's interface is looking pretty good. Also kinda sad that portal is supposedly removed. Its SPH chart was a lot of fun.

It's less glitchy than 9th style AC, and it has FUNKY TOWN

Thanks for the info guys, I'll probably get LR2 running and see if I can get the some the japanese versions of IIDX for another time, I pretty much just got my sdvx/kshoot controller, don't wanna go too crazy.

Floor Infection, no, because SDVX artists mostly can't keysound unless they've done stuff for Konami already.

That's not the reason. From what I've read, it's because when the artists participate on a FLOOR contest, they're asked to submit a full, non-keysounded song (save for the pop'n Tsukutte Contest).
Now, that doesn't stop KONAMI to ask them again for a keysounded version of the song... which is probably laziness from their part.

It's based on the myth that artists that have appeared that have sent in actual commissioned work to CxB has been blacklisted from Bemani games. While the majority of the artists that have appeared on past games and contributed haven't re-emerged back, (SLAKE, pinkpong, mao) others have proven this myth wrong (xi, OSTER project, A-One, void). Albeit all of those artists are doujin so this assumption is still up in the air. Unreliable as it seems, no past bemani staff member or older commissioned artist (Around DJ Troopers Era) that has appeared in CxB has yet to make another song for Bemani.
