You just have to clear a mission with the song you want for it to show up in the shop, and you can skip ahead to the later areas by just clearing the bosses. The second-to-last area requires you to clear every mission though, and the last one seems to require a good number of gold-clears too. It hasn't bugged me that much since I like playing Master Modes, but hey. To gold-clear a mission, you can't be using any Supportive Modules, and your Hyper Score increases with harder Challenge Modules. I usually just use lifebar difficulty ones on stuff I can full-combo.

But yes, hopefully we'll get the planets and Golden Sky in the next game =P

Oh, i knew the planet songs were excluded, but i didn't know they were replaced with crappy us licenses. Real shame. If i had money for a flip top, you bet i would have gotten the Jap version.

Yeah, i dont have a problem with that ,except i cant change the difficulty on the songs! I hate playing beginner, i get so bored!!! But if its what i have to do to just play some better songs, i guess ima have to suck it up.

It's an American mix, of course there's gonna be crappy US licenses. It's just like over here in Europe. Konami are in some weird thought track that licensed music = big sell, and they have been for years. Though it's odd why Japan gets to avoid most of the licences...

Well, what keeps me focused even on Beginner is that 1x makes my full perfect combos much less consistent. It also doesn't help that I'm still adjusting to and working out the game's sync at that point, so it gives me something to keep busy with even when CCR'ing the easy stuff. It can get a little monotonous to do it all at once, though.

I really hope we get that one song in the next game, since we got Konoko already.

has anyone else completed or has tried a least to get every song(in hyper master mode) a hyper score of 1,000,000 or more or am i the only one who has done this on single mode .

Its been done. The US version of this game has nothing left so lets let it die.

Months later.....

Alright, ever since I had the game I've been attempting to clear the missions on both Single and Double. All I have left is Mission K-08 on single. This is the only mission I have left to complete with a full yellow bar and I still have nothing!

The farthest I've gotten was 3 portions of the yellow bar filled up. I tried to see if having no greats gave me that extra bar, and as you can see, having no greats did not give me the extra bar.

I am pissed. This is the only mission I have left to complete the damned thing and getting the last mod which-I-will-never-use-or-need-as-I-have-completed-the-damn-thing-by-then. I am pissed. Has anyone fully completed this challenge?*

* = Mission K-08; get more than 250 Marvelous (Flowers S-Heavy)

Firstly disable your mods that are boosting your score, you already broke the 1,000,000 barrier so you dont need to worry about that anymore. Secondly looking at the requirement of +250 marvelous, you actually ONLY JUST cleared the mission so im guessing you need a hell of a lot more marvelous' to get that bar up higher.

Try to break 300 on it and see if that makes a difference, i got it almost straight away but i average 20 perfects on that sort of song so its just about getting your timing improved.

I've cleared the mission a bunch of times. As mentioned before, the highest I've gone was three bars. I should have taken a picture of that as well. >_>

You cleared it so I'm taking your word. I'll post my score when I cleared it with full bars. Whenever that happens.

I come here a lot just dont say much , i tend to point out a lot of things that need fixing/improving to Alan though

Anyway back on topic, if necessary ill dig out my ps2 and redo this mission again just to tell you what perfect count i have when i finish it but im almost 100% certain there isnt an underlying requirement for the full 100%
