[StepMania 5 Theme] [WiP] DanceDanceRevolution STARLIGHT

First post has been updated with the most current screens I have up until now. Some changes are subtle, some not so much. Colors in certain places are brighter and more vivid, some blending options modified and other things sized better. Head to the first page for more orgasmic goodness. Menu music loops are in as well as a few other things and I'm setting things up for the movie animations now.

EDIT: A certain someone asked about a "pre-order" bonus after I showed the STARLIGHT box art and I am in the process of making a little something extra now because of that. I had 3 ideas for a bonus but two of them, though awesome and extravagant, would require alot of money from me so I'm going to go with the more basic one. I'm working on that extra as we speak so if some of you receive something from me between now and tomorrow you'll know what it's for.

i could totally see this making it to a small arcade. i'm thinking it'll be in someone den set up within a arcade machine/stepmania cab. XD nothing fancy just a DIY project. so the theme owners could rest assured about having thier theme used without permission

In this case, it's a figure of speech. You can't really pre-order this but I've made a nice little extra for people to enjoy. If I had the money and the resources, I would have gone with my first two ideas but this will do fine.

Ok, here is that little extra I was talking about. Since the default Stepmania splash screen can be replaced, I made this DDR STARLIGHT version for people to enjoy every time the program is started.



I realize it may not be much but it's all I can do for now.

Sorry about that, AJ but yes that's what I was talking about in regards to the splash screen.

My other two ideas would have been phenomenal but I can't go through with them. This idea was thought of by Aeron: Getting the DDR STARLIGHT logo and printing it on black t-shirts which would have looked beast. The other idea I had was to print 20x30inch posters of the that DDR STARLIGHT digital poster I did but I had "incidents" when I made the Zenius -I- vanisher.com tshirts so I have to becareful now with that stuff in the future. In any case, making both requires alot of money and the other thing would have been how to get all of this promotional stuff to anyone who would actually want it. So yea, those were the other extras we had in mind.

EDIT: One other thing I forgot to mention. I have a certain someone helping me make a little intro movie and ending credits movie for the theme. Something along the lines of this:



It's not going to be overly like that and so much text flying and particles sparkling but it will be something like that.

I have someone who's going to help out with After Effects in making the trailer, intro movie and things like that. And like I said, I don't need it flashy like that. Needs a bit reduction IMO.

Silver, were you ever able to compile the graphics together for me? I'm free from school for now, so I should have some time in the next few days to work on those.

Oh right, I'll gather everything tonight and send them over. Is there a format that you need everything in? PNG, TIFF, TARGA?
